47Here, too, you take the full inheritance from the Father. 48Here, there is no question of being male or female.
45पुरुष मर जाता है तो स्त्री को कोई पूछता भी नहीं . puruṣh mar jātā hai tō strī kō kōī pūchhtā bhī nahī̃ . purūṣh[n.m.;sg.,d.] marnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] tō strī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] kōī[pn.;d.] pūchhnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . man die[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] then wife to some ask[pres-part.m.sg.d.] too not .
49All of you have a right to the inheritance.

50Mothers and kumaris have an even greater right because kumaris don’t have attachment to their worldly father’s inheritance.

51In fact, all of you are kumars and kumaris.

52You have received so much inheritance from the Father. 53There is the story of a king who asked all of his daughters, “Who is feeding you?”
50वास्तव में तुम सब कुमार कुमारियाँ हो गये . vāstav mē̃ tum sab kumār kumāriyā̃ hō gayē . vāstav mē̃[x] tum[pn.pl.] sab[adj.] kumār[x] kumārī[x] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] . x you all kumar kumari be[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] .

56She became even wealthier than her father.
52एक कहानी है - राजा ने बच्चियों से पूछा - किसका खाती हो ? ēk kahānī hai - rājā nē bachchiyō̃ sē pūchhā - kiskā khātī hō ? ēk[adj.] kahānī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] - rājā[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] bachchī[n.f.ī=>iyō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] pūchhnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] - kaun[pn.sg.kā] khānā[pres.pl.f.2] ? one x be[pres.sg.23] - king ∅ girl from ask[past-part.m.sg.d.] - who[.kā] eat[pres.pl.f.2] ?
57She invited her father to a banquet and said, “Now see whose food I am eating!”
53तो एक ने कहा अपने भाग्य का . tō ēk nē kahā apnē bhāgya kā . tō ēk[adj.] nē[postp.] kahnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bhāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] . then one ∅ say[past-part.m.sg.d.] one’s own x of . 54तो राजा ने उसको निकाल दिया . tō rājā nē uskō nikāl diyā . tō rājā[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] vah[pn.sg.kō] nikālnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+dēnā] . then king ∅ that[.kō] x[past-part.m.sg.d..root+dēnā] .

198मनुष्य का पहला क्या फर्ज है , वो तो कोई नहीं जानता , बस इतना ही प्रचार करते हैं कि मर्यादा में रहो , मगर इतना भी नहीं जानते कि मनुष्य की पहली मर्यादा कौनसी है ? manuṣhya kā pahlā kyā pharja hai , vō tō kōī nahī̃ jāntā , bas itnā hī prachār kartē haĩ ki maryādā mē̃ rahō , magar itnā bhī nahī̃ jāntē ki manuṣhya kī|key pahlī maryādā kaunsī hai ? manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pahlā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kyā farj[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.;d.] tō kōī[pn.;d.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] , bas|basnā[root] itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hī[p.] prachār[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] maryādā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , magar itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] ki[conj.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key pahlā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] maryādā[n.f.;sg.] kaun sā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ? human being of x what duty be[pres.sg.23] , that then some not know[pres-part.m.sg.d.] , (simply|x[root]) such only x do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that code of conduct in remain[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , x such too not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] that human being (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) x code of conduct which be[pres.sg.23] ?
209What is the first duty of human beings? 210No one knows this. 211They are simply told to observe the codes of conduct, but they don’t even know what the first code of conduct is.
199मनुष्य की पहली मर्यादा है निर्विकारी बनना , अगर कोई से ऐसा पूछा जाए तुम इस मर्यादा में रहते हो ? manuṣhya kī|key pahlī maryādā hai nirvikārī bannā , agar kōī sē aisā pūchhā jāē tum is maryādā mē̃ rahtē hō ? manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key pahlā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] maryādā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nirvikārī[adj.] bannā[inf.m.sg.d.] , agar kōī[pn.;d.] sē[postp.] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pūchhnā[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|pūchhnā[opt.sg.23.passive] tum[pn.pl.] yah[pn.sg.o.] maryādā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[pres.pl.m.2] ? human being (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) x code of conduct be[pres.sg.23] viceless become[inf.m.sg.d.] , if some from such (ask[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|ask[opt.sg.23.passive]) you this code of conduct in remain[pres.pl.m.2] ? 200तो कह देते हैं आजकल इस कलियुगी सृष्टि में निर्विकारी होने की हिम्मत नहीं है . tō kah dētē haĩ ājkal is kaliyugī sr̥iṣhṭi mē̃ nirvikārī hōnē kī|key himmat nahī̃ hai . tō kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] ājkal yah[pn.sg.o.] kaliyugī[adj.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] nirvikārī[adj.] hōnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key himmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] nowadays this iron-aged world in viceless be[inf.m.pl.,o.] (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) courage not be[pres.sg.23] .
212The first code of conduct is to be viceless. 213If people are asked if they are observing this code of conduct, they would say that they don’t have the courage to be viceless in this iron-aged world of today.
201अब मुख से कहना कि मर्यादा में रहो , निर्विकारी बनो , इससे तो कोई निर्विकारी बन नहीं सकता . ab mukh sē kahnā ki maryādā mē̃ rahō , nirvikārī banō , issē tō kōī nirvikārī ban nahī̃ saktā . ab[adv.] mukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] kahnā[inf.m.sg.d.] ki[conj.] maryādā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , nirvikārī[adj.] bannā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , yah[pn.sg.sē] tō kōī[pn.;d.] nirvikārī[adj.] ban[n.m.;sg.,d.]|bannā[root] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . now mouth from say[inf.m.sg.d.] that code of conduct in remain[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , viceless become[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , this[.sē] then some viceless (x|become[root]) not can[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .
214Simply by saying “observe the codes of conduct and be viceless” doesn’t mean that they become viceless.
202निर्विकारी बनने के लिये पहले इस ज्ञान तलवार से इन पाँच विकारों के बीज को खत्म करना तब ही विकर्म भस्म हो सकेंगे . nirvikārī bannē kē|K liyē pahlē is gyān talvār sē in pañch vikārō̃ kē|K bīj kō khatm karnā tab hī vikarma bhasma hō sakē̃gē . nirvikārī[adj.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] pahlē[adv.]|pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] yah[pn.sg.o.] gyān talvār[x] sē[postp.] in|yah[pn.pl.o.] pañch[adj.] vikār[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] ḵẖatm[adj.] karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] tab hī[p.] vikarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhasm[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+saknā] . viceless become[inf.m.pl.,o.] (of|K) take[past-part.m.pl.,o.] (firstly|x) this sword of this knowledge from (in|this) five vice (of|K) seed to finished do[inf.m.sg.d.] for only then only sin burnt away be[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+saknā] . 203अच्छा - ओम् शान्ति . achchhā - ōm śhānti . achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] - ōm śhānti[x] . achcha - Om Shanti .
215In order to be viceless, you first of all have to finish the seed of the five vices with the sword of knowledge. 216Only then will your sins be absolved. 217Achcha.
