159To take this knowledge is an expensive deal. 160To take this knowledge means to die alive in one go. 161To take the knowledge of the scriptures is a very cheap deal.

, x amar[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] aur paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] chaitanya[n.m.;sg.,d.] svarūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . because that imperishable x be[pres.sg.23] , that when x not be[pres-part.m.sg.d.] , x immortal be[pres.sg.23] and Supreme Soul to living form too say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

162There, you have to die repeatedly because they do not give God’s knowledge and this is why Baba says: Whatever you need to do, do that now.

149चैतन्य का अर्थ है परमात्मा भी मन बुद्धि सहित है , उसको नॉलेजफुल पीसफुल कहते हैं . chaitanya kā arth|earth hai paramātmā bhī man buddhi sahit hai , uskō knowledgeful peaceful kahtē haĩ . chaitanya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth hōnā[pres.sg.23] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] man[n.m.;sg.,d.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] sahit hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.sg.kō] knowledgeful peaceful kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . living of (meaning|earth) be[pres.sg.23] Supreme Soul too mind intellect including be[pres.sg.23] , that[.kō] knowledgeful peaceful say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

163Then, this business will not remain. 1642. God is the Truth, the Living Being and the Embodiment of Bliss.

165The Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul is also called the Truth, the Living Being and the Embodiment of Bliss. 166Why is the Supreme Soul said to be the Truth? 167Because He is imperishable and immortal. 168He can never be false.

151तो वो जब चैतन्य है तभी तो मुख द्वारा हमें ज्ञान योग सिखला रहे हैं और फिर परमात्मा को सत-चित-आनंद स्वरूप भी कहते हैं , तो यह सब गुण परमात्मा में भरे हुए हैं इसलिए परमात्मा को सुख दुःख से न्यारा कहते हैं . tō vō jab chaitanya hai tabhī tō mukh dvārā hamē̃ gyān yōg sikhlā rahē haĩ aur phir paramātmā kō sat-chit-ānand svarūp bhī kahtē haĩ , tō yah sab guṇ paramātmā mē̃ bharē huē haĩ isliē paramātmā kō sukh duḥkh sē nyārā kahtē haĩ . tō vah[pn.;d.] jab chaitanya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tabhī tō mukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] dvārā ham[pn.pl.kō] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] yōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] sikhlānā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] aur phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] sat chit ānand[n.m.;sg.,d.] svarūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , tō yah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] guṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] bharnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|bharnā[opt.sg.23] hōnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] isliē paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.]|duḥkhnā[root] sē[postp.] nyārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . then that when living be[pres.sg.23] x then mouth through we[.kō] knowledge yoga teach[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] and (turn[root]|then) Supreme Soul to the Truth, the Living Being and the Embodiment of Bliss form too say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , then this all virtue Supreme Soul in (fill[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|fill[opt.sg.23]) be[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] therefore Supreme Soul to happiness (sorrow|hurt[root]) from unique say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

169He is immortal and eternal. 170God is also said to be the Living Being. 171“Living” means God also has a mind and intellect. 172He is called knowledge-full and peaceful.

152हम ऐसे नहीं कहेंगे कि परमात्मा कोई दुःख दाता है , नहीं . ham aisē nahī̃ kahē̃gē ki paramātmā kōī duḥkh dātā hai , nahī̃ . ham[pn.pl.] aisē nahī̃[x] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ki[conj.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kōī[pn.;d.] duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.]|duḥkhnā[root] dātā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , nahī̃[neg] . we it isn't that say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] that Supreme Soul some (sorrow|hurt[root]) bestower be[pres.sg.23] , not .

173He is teaching us knowledge and yoga. 174This is why God is also called the Living Being.

175Although He is beyond birth and does not take a physical birth as we souls do, God does have to take the body of Brahma on loan in order to give us this knowledge and peace.

1543 - बहुत मनुष्य ऐसे समझ बैठे हैं कि यह जो अनादि बना बनाया सृष्टि ड्रामा चल रहा है वो सारा परमात्मा चला रहा है इसलिए वो कहते हैं कि मनुष्य के कुछ नाहीं हाथ . . . करनकरावनहार स्वामी . . . सबकुछ परमात्मा ही करता है . 3 - bahut manuṣhya aisē samajh baiṭhē haĩ ki yah jō anādi banā banāyā sr̥iṣhṭi drama chal rahā hai vō sārā paramātmā chalā rahā hai isliē vō kahtē haĩ ki manuṣhya kē|K kuchh nāhī̃ hāth . . . karankarāvanhār svāmī . . . sabkuchh paramātmā hī kartā hai . 3 - bahut manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] samajhnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+baiṭhnā] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] jō[pn.;d.] anādi[adj.] banā banāyā[x] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] drama chalnā[pres.sg.m.prog.23] vah[pn.;d.] sārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] chalnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+rahnā]|chalānā[pres.sg.m.prog.23] isliē vah[pn.;d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K kuchh nahī̃ hāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] . . . karankarāvanhār svāmī[n.m.;sg.,d.] . . . sab kuchh[pn.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] karnā[pres.sg.m.23] . 3 - very human being such understand[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+baiṭhnā] that this that eternal predestined world drama continue[pres.sg.m.prog.23] that the whole Supreme Soul (continue[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+rahnā]|x[pres.sg.m.prog.23]) therefore that say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that human being (of|K) anything not hand . . . 176It is because He is the Living Being that he is teaching us this knowledge and yoga through that mouth. 177God is also said to be the Embodiment of Truth, the Embodiment of Bliss and the Embodiment of Happiness. 178God is filled with all of these virtues and this is why God is said to be beyond happiness and sorrow. 179We would not say that God is the Bestower of sorrow; no.

181Since His virtue is that of giving happiness and bliss, how could He cause sorrow for us souls?

157पहले-पहले उन्हों को यह समझना जरूर है कि यह अनादि बनी बनाई सृष्टि का खेल ऑटोमेटिक चलता रहता है . pahlē-pahlē unhō̃ kō yah samajhnā jarūr hai ki yah anādi banī banāī sr̥iṣhṭi kā khēl automatic chaltā rahtā hai . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] vah[pn.pl.o.] kō[postp.] yah[pn.sg.d.] samajhnā[inf.m.sg.d.] zarūr hōnā[pres.sg.23] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] anādi[adj.] bannā[past-part.f.] banānā[past-part.f.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khēl[n.m.;sg.,d.]|khēlnā[root] automatic chalnā[pres.sg.m.23.pres-part+rahnā] . 1823. The Supreme Soul is Karankaravanhar. 183Many people believe that the eternal world drama that is being played out is all created by God.

158साथ-साथ यह भी कहते हैं कि यह सबकुछ परमात्मा ही करता है . sāth-sāth yah bhī kahtē haĩ ki yah sabkuchh paramātmā hī kartā hai . sāth-sāth yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] sab kuchh[pn.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] karnā[pres.sg.m.23] . x this too say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that this everything Supreme Soul only do[pres.sg.m.23] . 159यह जो परमात्मा को करनकरावनहार कहते हैं , यह नाम फिर कौनसी हस्ती के ऊपर पड़ा है  ? yah jō paramātmā kō karankarāvanhār kahtē haĩ , yah nām phir kaunsī hastī kē ūpar paṛā hai  ? yah[pn.sg.d.] jō[pn.;d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] karankarāvanhār kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , yah[pn.sg.d.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] kaun sā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hastī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kē ūpar[x] paṛnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23]  ? this that Supreme Soul to Karankaravanhar say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , this name (turn[root]|then) which x over fall[pres-perf.sg.m.23]  ?

184This is why they say that nothing is in the hands of human beings; that the Lord is Karankaravanhar; that God does everything, that both the parts of happiness and sorrow have been created by God.

160अब इन बातों को समझना है . ab in bātō̃ kō samajhnā hai . ab[adv.] yah[pn.pl.o.]|in bāt[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] samajhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . now (this|in) matter to understand[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .

185What would you call the intellects of such people?

161पहले तो यह समझना है कि यह जो सृष्टि का अनादि नियम है वो तो बना बनाया है , जैसे परमात्मा अनादि है , वैसे यह चक्र भी आदि से लेकर अन्त तक अनादि अविनाशी बना बनाया है . pahlē tō yah samajhnā hai ki yah jō sr̥iṣhṭi kā anādi niyam hai vō tō banā banāyā hai , jaisē paramātmā anādi hai , vaisē yah chakra bhī ādi sē lēkar ant tak anādi avināśhī banā banāyā hai . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] tō yah[pn.sg.d.] samajhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] jō[pn.;d.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] anādi[adj.] niyam[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] vah[pn.;d.] tō banā banāyā[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] anādi[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] yah[pn.sg.d.] chakra, chakkar[n.m.;sg.,d.]|chakra[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] ādi[adj.] sē[postp.] lēnā[abs.] ant[n.m.;sg.,d.] tak anādi[adj.] avināśhī[adj.] banā banāyā[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (x|firstly) then this understand[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that this that world of eternal law be[pres.sg.23] that then predestined be[pres.sg.23] , like Supreme Soul eternal be[pres.sg.23] , x this (cycle|x) too etc. from take[abs.] end until eternal imperishable predestined be[pres.sg.23] .

186First of all, it is essential for them to understand that the predestined play of the world continues automatically. 187It is also said that God does everything. 188God is said to be Karankaravanhar. 189Which authority has been given this name?

162जैसे बीज में अण्डरस्टुड वृक्ष का ज्ञान है और वृक्ष में अण्डरस्टुड बीज है , दोनों कम्बाइंड हैं , दोनों अविनाशी हैं , बाकी बीज का क्या काम है , बीज बोना झाड़ निकलना . jaisē bīj mē̃ understood vr̥ikṣha kā gyān hai aur vr̥ikṣha mē̃ understood bīj hai , dōnō̃ combined haĩ , dōnō̃ avināśhī haĩ , bākī bīj kā kyā kām hai , bīj bōnā jhāṛ nikalnā . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] understand vr̥ikṣha[x] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] aur vr̥ikṣha[x] mē̃[postp.] understand bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , dōnō̃ combined hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , dōnō̃ avināśhī[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , bākī|bākī bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kyā kām[n.m.;sg.,d.]|kām[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] bōnā[inf.m.sg.d.] jhāṛ[n.m.;sg.,d.] nikalnā[inf.m.sg.d.] . like seed in understand tree of knowledge be[pres.sg.23] and tree in understand seed be[pres.sg.23] , x combined be[pres.pl.12hon3] , x imperishable be[pres.pl.12hon3] , (but|others) seed of what (task|lust) be[pres.sg.23] , seed sow[inf.m.sg.d.] tree be extracted[inf.m.sg.d.] .

190These things have to be understood. 191First of all, you have to understand that it is the eternal law of this world and that it is predestined. 192Just as God is eternal, so this cycle is also imperishable and eternally created from the beginning to the end.

163अगर बीज न बोया जाए तो वृक्ष उत्पन्न नहीं होता . agar bīj na bōyā jāē tō vr̥ikṣha utpanna nahī̃ hōtā . agar bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] bōnā[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|bōnā[opt.sg.23.passive] tō vr̥ikṣha[x] utpanna[adj.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . if seed not (sow[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|sow[opt.sg.23.passive]) then tree x not be[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . 164तो परमात्मा भी स्वयं इस सारी सृष्टि का बीजरूप है और परमात्मा का पार्ट है बीज बोना . tō paramātmā bhī svayã is sārī sr̥iṣhṭi kā bījrūp hai aur paramātmā kā part hai bīj bōnā . tō paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] svayã yah[pn.sg.o.] sārā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sr̥iṣhṭi[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bījrūp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] aur paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] part[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] bōnā[inf.m.sg.d.] . then Supreme Soul too x this the whole world of Seed be[pres.sg.23] and Supreme Soul of part be[pres.sg.23] seed sow[inf.m.sg.d.] .

193It is understood that a seed has the knowledge of the tree, and it is understood that the tree has the seed within it; the two are combined and imperishable. 194What is the task of the seed? 195It has to be sown and the tree will then emerge from it.

165परमात्मा ही कहता है मैं परमात्मा हूँ ही तब जब बीज बोता हूँ , नहीं तो बीज और वृक्ष अनादि है , अगर बीज नहीं बोया जाए तो वृक्ष कैसे निकलेगा  ! paramātmā hī kahtā hai maĩ paramātmā hū̃ hī tab jab bīj bōtā hū̃ , nahī̃ tō bīj aur vr̥ikṣha anādi hai , agar bīj nahī̃ bōyā jāē tō vr̥ikṣha kaisē nikalēgā  ! paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23] maĩ[pn.sg.d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.1] hī[p.] tab jab bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] bōnā[pres.sg.m.1] , nahī̃ tō[x] bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur vr̥ikṣha[x] anādi[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , agar bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] bōnā[opt.sg.23.past-part+jānā]|bōnā[opt.sg.23.passive] tō vr̥ikṣha[x] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nikalnā[fut.m.sg.23]  ! 196If the seed is not sown, the tree cannot grow. 197God is also the Seed of this whole world and God’s part is to sow the seed. 198God Himself says: I am God when I sow the seed, otherwise the seed and the tree are imperishable.
