220This is easy and it is a matter of common sense to understand what actions or neutral actions a non-sentient tree would have performed for it to create karmic accounts. 221For instance, look at the elevated versions that Guru Nanak quoted: Whoever remembers their son, whoever dies with that worry in their final moments would take rebirth as a boar. 222However, saying this does not mean that a human being would take birth as a boar, but a boar means that the actions of human beings are like those of animals; it isn’t that human beings become animals.
