12Om shanti.
12जीव की आत्मा जानती है कि हमारा परमपिता परमात्मा हमको सम्मुख पढ़ा रहे हैं वा राजयोग सिखला रहे हैं . jīv kī|key ātmā jāntī hai ki hamārā parampitā paramātmā hamkō sammukh paṛhā rahē haĩ vā rājyōg sikhlā rahē haĩ . jīv[adj.] kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|karnā[past-part.f.]|key ātmā[n.f.;sg.] jānnā[pres.sg.f.23] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.kā] parampitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] ham[pn.pl.kō] sammukh paṛhānā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] vā rājyōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] sikhlānā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] . life (of|do[past-part.f.]|key) soul know[pres.sg.f.23] that we[.kā] Supreme Father Supreme Soul we[.kō] in front of you teach[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] or Raja Yoga teach[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] .
13The soul of the living being knows that our Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is personally teaching us; He is teaching us Raj Yoga.
13तो जैसे कि यह ईश्वरीय युनिवर्सिटी ठहरी . tō jaisē ki yah īśhvarīy university ṭhaharī . tō jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] īśhvarīy[adj.] university ṭhaharnā[past-part.f.] . then like that this Godly university stay[past-part.f.] .
14Therefore, it is as though this is a Godly University.
14युनिवर्सिटी इसको क्यों कहते है ? university iskō kyō̃ kahtē hai ? university yah[pn.sg.kō] kyō̃ kahnā[x] ? university this[.kō] why say[x] ?
15Why is it called a university?
15ऐसे नहीं , और जो भी सब युनिवर्सिटीज़ हैं वह युनिवर्स के लिए हैं . aisē nahī̃ , aur jō bhī sab universities haĩ vah universe kē liē haĩ . aisē nahī̃[x] , aur jō[pn.;d.] bhī[p.] sab[adj.] university hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] vah[pn.sg.d.] universe kē liē[x] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . it isn't that , and that too all university be[pres.pl.12hon3] that universe for be[pres.pl.12hon3] . 16नहीं . nahī̃ . nahī̃[neg] . not .
16It isn't that all other universities are for the universe.
17जैसे विलायत में युनिवर्सिटी है परन्तु वहाँ हैं गोरे तो काले लोगों को आने की एलाउ नहीं करते हैं . jaisē vilāyat mē̃ university hai parantu vahā̃ haĩ gōrē tō kālē lōgō̃ kō ānē kī|key allow nahī̃ kartē haĩ . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] vilāyat[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] university hōnā[pres.sg.23] parantu[conj.] vahā̃ hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] gōrā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tō kālē|kālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] log[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] ānā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]|ānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|karnā[past-part.f.]|key allow nahī̃[neg] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . like abroad in university be[pres.sg.23] however there be[pres.pl.12hon3] beautiful then (at the time of|ugly) people to (x|come[inf.m.pl.,o.]) (of|do[past-part.f.]|key) allow not do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
17No; they are not for the universe, so they shouldn’t be called universities.
18तो वह युनिवर्स के लिए तो ठहरी नहीं . tō vah universe kē liē tō ṭhaharī nahī̃ . tō vah[pn.sg.d.] universe kē liē[x] tō ṭhaharnā[past-part.f.] nahī̃[neg] . then that universe for then stay[past-part.f.] not . 19तो उनको युनिवर्सिटी नहीं कहेंगे . tō unkō university nahī̃ kahē̃gē . tō vah[pn.pl.kō] university nahī̃[neg] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . then that[.kō] university not say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
18Here, you children know that this is the true Godly University.
20यहाँ तुम बच्चे जानते हो - यह सच्ची-सच्ची ईश्वरीय युनिवर्सिटी है . yahā̃ tum bachchē jāntē hō - yah sachchī-sachchī īśhvarīy university hai . yahā̃ tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] - yah[pn.sg.d.] sachchā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] īśhvarīy[adj.] university hōnā[pres.sg.23] . here you child know[pres.pl.m.2] - this true Godly university be[pres.sg.23] .
19However, none of them can understand this because they are buddhus.
21परन्तु कोई भी समझ नहीं सकते हैं क्योंकि बुद्धू हैं . parantu kōī bhī samajh nahī̃ saktē haĩ kyōṅki buddhū haĩ . parantu[conj.] kōī bhī[x] samajh[n.f.;sg.]|samajhnā[root] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] kyōṅki buddhū[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . however anyone (understanding|understand[root]) not can[pres.pl.m.12hon3] because fool be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
20Only the Father makes buddhus wise.
22बुद्धू को बुद्धिवान बाप ही बनाते हैं . buddhū kō buddhivān bāp hī banātē haĩ . buddhū[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] buddhivān[adj.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] banānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . fool to wise father only create[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
21Human beings bow down in front of those who are wise.
23मनुष्य बुद्धिवान के आगे माथा झुकाते हैं . manuṣhya buddhivān kē āgē māthā jhukātē haĩ . manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] buddhivān[adj.] kē āgē[x] māthā jhukānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . human being wise in front of bow their heads .
22They bow down to the deity idols and sannyasis etc.
, sannyāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] ādi[adj.] kō[postp.] māthā jhukānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . deities to , sannyasi etc. to bow their heads .
23Sannyasis are pure, and so they are definitely wise. 24They consider purity to be good.
ṭhaharnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|ṭhaharnā[opt.sg.23] . sannyasi pure be[pres.pl.12hon3] then definitely wise (stay[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|stay[opt.sg.23]) .
25That vice of lust causes distress for human beings.
26पवित्रता को अच्छा मानते हैं . pavitratā kō achchhā māntē haĩ . pavitratā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . purity to achcha x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 27यह विकार ही मनुष्य को हैरान करते हैं इसलिए पवित्र रहने वाले संन्यासियों को गृहस्थी लोग बुद्धिवान समझते हैं और उनके चरणों में झुकते हैं . yah vikār hī manuṣhya kō hairān kartē haĩ isliē pavitra rahnē vālē sannyāsiyō̃ kō gr̥ihasthī lōg buddhivān samajhtē haĩ aur unkē charaṇō̃ mē̃ jhuktē haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] hairān[adj.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] isliē pavitr[adj.] rahnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sannyāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] gr̥ihasthī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] log[n.m.;sg.,d.] buddhivān[adj.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] aur vah[pn.pl.kē] charaṇ[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] mē̃[postp.] jhuknā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . this vice only human being to x do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] therefore pure remain[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who sannyasi to x people wise understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] and that[.kē] x in x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
26This is why householders consider sannyasis who remain pure to be wise and bow down at their feet. 27As soon as they see someone wearing the costume of a sannyasi, they instantly bow down to him.
28बस , संन्यासी लिबास देखा और झट माथा झुकायेंगे . bas , sannyāsī libās dēkhā aur jhaṭ māthā jhukāyēṅgē . basnā[root]|bas , sannyāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] libās[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēkhnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] aur jhaṭ māthā jhukānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . (x[root]|simply) , sannyasi x see[past-part.m.sg.d.] and x bow their heads . 29अभी तो उन्हों का मान कम हो गया है इसलिए सम्भालकर कदम उठाते हैं . abhī tō unhō̃ kā mān kam hō gayā hai isliē sambhālkar kadam uṭhātē haĩ . ab[adv.hī] tō vah[pn.pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mānnā[root]|mān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kam hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+jānā] isliē sambhālnā[abs.] kadam[n.m.;sg.,d.] uṭhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . now then that of (x[root]|respect) decrease therefore be careful[abs.] step uplift[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
28However, regard for them has now decreased and this is why people take every step with great caution.
30आगे तो संन्यासियों को देख झट ऑफर करते थे - स्वामी जी , हमारे घर पर चलो . āgē tō sannyāsiyō̃ kō dēkh jhaṭ offer kartē thē - svāmī jī , hamārē ghar par chalō . āgē tō sannyāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] dēkhnā[root] jhaṭ offer karnā[hab-past.pl.m.] - svāmī[n.m.;sg.,d.] jīnā[root]|jī[x]|jīnā[past-part.f.] , ham[pn.pl.kē] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] chalnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . previously then sannyasi to see[root] x offer do[hab-past.pl.m.] - Swami (live[root]|ji|live[past-part.f.]) , we[.kē] home (at|other) continue[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
29Previously, when they saw a sannyasi, they would instantly invite him: Swamiji, come to our house.
31अभी तो टू मच हो गये हैं और तमोप्रधान बन पड़े हैं इसलिए जो बहुत नामीग्रामी हैं उनका ही मान होता है . abhī tō too much hō gayē haĩ aur tamōpradhān ban paṛē haĩ isliē jō bahut nāmīgrāmī haĩ unkā hī mān hōtā hai . ab[adv.hī] tō too much[x] hōnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] aur tamōpradhān[adj.] bannā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] isliē jō[pn.;d.] bahut nāmīgrāmī[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] vah[pn.pl.kā] hī[p.] mānnā[root]|mān[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] . now then too much be[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] and tamopradhan become[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] therefore that very x be[pres.pl.12hon3] that[.kā] only (x[root]|respect) be[pres.sg.m.23] .
30There are now too many of them and they have now become tamopradhan, and this is why there is only regard for those who are very well known.
32बड़े आदमी भी उनको माथा झुकाते हैं - क्यों ? baṛē ādmī bhī unkō māthā jhukātē haĩ - kyō̃ ? baṛā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ādmī[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] vah[pn.pl.kō] māthā jhukānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - kyō̃ ? very person too that[.kō] bow their heads - why ?
31Even eminent people bow down to them. 32Why?
33पढ़े-लिखे तो संन्यासियों से भी जास्ती हैं . paṛhē-likhē tō sannyāsiyō̃ sē bhī jāstī haĩ . paṛhnā-likhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] tō sannyāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] bhī[p.] jāstī hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . study[past-part.m.pl.,o.] then sannyasi from too more be[pres.pl.12hon3] . 34परन्तु वह पवित्र हैं , संन्यास किया है इसलिए बुद्धिवान माने जाते हैं . parantu vah pavitra haĩ , sannyās kiyā hai isliē buddhivān mānē jātē haĩ . parantu[conj.] vah[pn.sg.d.] pavitr[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] , sannyās[x] karnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] isliē buddhivān[adj.] mānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|mānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive] . however that pure be[pres.pl.12hon3] , renunciation do[pres-perf.sg.m.23] therefore wise (x[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|x[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive]) .
33Those eminent people are more educated than sannyasis, but sannyasis are pure because they have adopted renunciation and that is why they are considered to be wise.
35अभी तुम बुद्धिवान बनते हो . abhī tum buddhivān bantē hō . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] buddhivān[adj.] bannā[pres.pl.m.2] . now you wise become[pres.pl.m.2] .
34You are now becoming wise.
36तुम अभी रचयिता और रचना के आदि-मध्य-अन्त को जानते हो . tum abhī rachayitā aur rachnā kē|K ādi-madhy-ant kō jāntē hō . tum[pn.pl.] ab[adv.hī] rachayitā[x] aur rachnā[inf.m.sg.d.]|rachnā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K ādi-madhya-ant kō[postp.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] . you now Creator and (x[inf.m.sg.d.]|creation) (of|K) the beginning, the middle and the end to know[pres.pl.m.2] .
35You now know the Creator and the beginning, middle and end of creation.
37परन्तु तुम्हारे में भी सभी को इतना नशा नहीं है . parantu tumhārē mē̃ bhī sabhī kō itnā naśhā nahī̃ hai . parantu[conj.] tum[pn.pl.kē] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] sab[adv.hī] kō[postp.] itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] naśhā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . however you[.kē] in too all to such intoxication not be[pres.sg.23] .
36However, among you too, not all of you have that intoxication.
38नशा चढ़ने में भी टाइम बहुत लगता है . naśhā chaṛhnē mē̃ bhī time bahut lagtā hai . naśhā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] chaṛhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] time bahut lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] . intoxication climb[inf.m.pl.,o.] in too time very x[pres.sg.m.23] .
37It takes a lot of time for that intoxication to rise.
39पूरा नशा तो अन्त में ही रहता है . pūrā naśhā tō ant mē̃ hī rahtā hai . pūrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] naśhā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] tō ant[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] rahnā[pres.sg.m.23] . full intoxication then end in only remain[pres.sg.m.23] .
38Only at the end will there will be complete intoxication.
40अभी जितना-जितना तुम पुरुषार्थ करते हो उतना नशा चढ़ता जाता है . abhī jitnā-jitnā tum puruṣhārth kartē hō utnā naśhā chaṛhtā jātā hai . ab[adv.hī] jitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] tum[pn.pl.] puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] utnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] naśhā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] chaṛhnā[pres.sg.m.23.pres-part+jānā] . now the more you effort do[pres.pl.m.2] x intoxication climb[pres.sg.m.23.pres-part+jānā] .
39Now, the more effort you make, the more your intoxication continues to rise.
41निरन्तर यह याद रहना चाहिए - हम आत्माओं का बाप परमात्मा आया हुआ है . nirantar yah yād rahnā chāhiē - ham ātmāō̃ kā bāp paramātmā āyā huā hai . nirantar[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] yād[n.f.;sg.] rahnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|rahnā[.oblig3] - ham[pn.pl.] ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . x this remembrance (remain[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|remain[.oblig3]) - we soul of father Supreme Soul come[past-part.m.sg.d.] be[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
40You should constantly remember that the Supreme Soul, the Father of us souls, has come.
. we[.kō] teach[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] - master of the world create[inf.m.pl.,o.] .
41He is teaching us in order to make us into the masters of the world.
43तो पुरुषार्थ करने की शुभ चिंता होनी चाहिए . tō puruṣhārth karnē kī|key śhubh chintā hōnī chāhiē . tō puruṣhārth[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|karnā[past-part.f.]|key śhubh[adj.] chintā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[.oblig3] . then effort do[inf.m.pl.,o.] (of|do[past-part.f.]|key) pure and positive worry be[.oblig3] .
42Therefore, you should have the pure concern to make effort.
. all to that worry not remain[pres-part.f.] .
43Not all of you have that concern.
45यहाँ सुनते समय नशा चढ़ा , यहाँ से बाहर निकला और खेल ख़लास . yahā̃ suntē samay naśhā chaṛhā , yahā̃ sē bāhar nikalā aur khēl ḵẖalās . yahā̃ sunnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] naśhā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] chaṛhnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|chaṛhānā[root] , yahā̃ sē[postp.] bāhar nikalnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] aur khēl[n.m.;sg.,d.]|khēlnā[root] khalās . here listen[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] time intoxication (climb[past-part.m.sg.d.]|x[root]) , here from outside be extracted[past-part.m.sg.d.] and (play|play[root]) x . 46नम्बरवार हैं ना . number-vār haĩ nā . number-wār hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] nā . numberwise be[pres.pl.12hon3] ∅ .
44At the time of listening to this, their intoxication rises but as soon as they go outside, everything ends; it is numberwise.
47हम आत्माओं का बाप आया है . ham ātmāō̃ kā bāp āyā hai . ham[pn.pl.] ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . we soul of father come[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
45The Father of us souls has come.
. we that[.kē] (x|pass) x in remain[hab-past.pl.m.] .

50साधू-संन्यासी आदि पवित्र हैं . sādhū-sannyāsī ādi pavitra haĩ . sādhū-sannyāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] ādi[adj.] pavitr[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . sages and sannyasis etc. pure be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
48Sages and sannyasis etc. are pure.
51तुम्हारे में भी नम्बरवार हैं . tumhārē mē̃ bhī number-vār haĩ . tum[pn.pl.kē] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] number-wār hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . you[.kē] in too numberwise be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
49You, too, are numberwise.
52सभी को यह निश्चय नहीं बैठा है कि हमारा परमपिता परमात्मा ज्ञान का सागर है , जीवन्मुक्ति दाता है जो हमको स्वर्ग का मालिक बनाते हैं . sabhī kō yah niśhchay nahī̃ baiṭhā hai ki hamārā parampitā paramātmā gyān kā sāgar hai , jīvanmukti dātā hai jō hamkō svarg kā mālik banātē haĩ . sab[adv.hī] kō[postp.] yah[pn.sg.d.] niśhchay[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] baiṭhnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.kā] parampitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] gyān kā sāgar[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , jīvanmukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] dātā[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] jō[pn.;d.] ham[pn.pl.kō] svarg kā mālik[x] banānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . all to this faith not sit[pres-perf.sg.m.23] that we[.kā] Supreme Father Supreme Soul x be[pres.sg.23] , liberation-in-life bestower be[pres.sg.23] that we[.kō] x create[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
50Not everyone has the faith that our Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, is the Ocean of Knowledge, the Bestower of Liberation-in-Life and that He is making us into the masters of heaven.
