12The spiritual Father says to you spiritual children: Look, I have come to make all of you children the same as Myself.

13Now, how would the Father come here to make you the same as Himself?

14He is incorporeal. 15He says: I am incorporeal and I have come to make you children the same as Myself, that is, to make you incorporeal and to teach you how to die alive.

16The Father too considers Himself to be a soul.
15इस शरीर का भान नहीं है . is śharīr kā bhān nahī̃ hai . yah[pn.sg.o.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this body of awareness not be[pres.sg.23] .
17He doesn’t have any consciousness of this body.
16शरीर में रहते हुए भी शरीर का भान नहीं है . śharīr mē̃ rahtē huē bhī śharīr kā bhān nahī̃ hai . śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] bhī[p.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . body in remain[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] be[past-part.m.pl.,o.] too body of awareness not be[pres.sg.23] .
18While being in a body, He doesn’t have any awareness of the body.
17यह शरीर उनका तो नहीं है ना . yah śharīr unkā tō nahī̃ hai nā . yah[pn.sg.d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] vah[pn.pl.kā] tō nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nā . this body that[.kā] then not be[pres.sg.23] ∅ .
19This body doesn’t belong to Him.
18तुम बच्चे भी इस शरीर का भान निकाल दो . tum bachchē bhī is śharīr kā bhān nikāl dō . tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] bhī[p.] yah[pn.sg.o.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nikālnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+dēnā] . you child too this body of awareness x[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+dēnā] .
20You children too have to remove the consciousness of your bodies.
19तुम आत्माओं को ही मेरे साथ चलना है . tum ātmāō̃ kō hī mērē sāth chalnā hai . tum[pn.pl.] ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] maĩ[pn.sg.kē] sāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] chalnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . you soul to only I[.kē] with continue[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
21You souls have to come back home with Me.

22Just as I have taken this body on loan, in the same way, souls also take bodies on loan to play their parts.

23Each of you has been taking a body for birth after birth.

24Now, although I am alive in this body, I am still detached, that is, I am dead to it.

25To shed your body is referred to as dying.

26You too have to die alive to your bodies.
25मैं भी आत्मा , तुम भी आत्मा . maĩ bhī ātmā , tum bhī ātmā . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] , tum[pn.pl.] bhī[p.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] . I too soul , you too soul .
27I am a soul and you too are souls.
26तुमको भी मेरे साथ चलना है या यहाँ ही बैठना है ? tumkō bhī mērē sāth chalnā hai yā yahā̃ hī baiṭhnā hai ? tum[pn.pl.kō] bhī[p.] maĩ[pn.sg.kē] sāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] chalnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] yā yahā̃ hī[p.] baiṭhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ? you[.kō] too I[.kē] with continue[pres.sg.23.oblig1] or here only sit[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ?
28Do you want to come back with Me or do you just want to sit here?
27तुम्हारा इस शरीर में जन्म-जन्मान्तर का मोह है . tumhārā is śharīr mē̃ janma-janmāntar kā mōh hai . tum[pn.pl.kā] yah[pn.sg.o.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] janma-janmāntar kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mōh[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you[.kā] this body in x of attachment be[pres.sg.23] .
29You have had attachment to bodies for birth after birth.
28जैसे मैं अशरीरी हूँ , तुम भी जीते जी अपने को अशरीरी समझो . jaisē maĩ aśharīrī hū̃ , tum bhī jītē jī apnē kō aśharīrī samjhō . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] maĩ[pn.sg.d.] aśharīrī[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.1] , tum[pn.pl.] bhī[p.] jītē jī[x] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] aśharīrī[adj.] samajhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . like I bodiless be[pres.sg.1] , you too x one’s own to bodiless understand[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
30Just as I am bodiless, you too have to consider yourselves to be bodiless while alive.
29हमको अब बाबा के साथ जाना है . hamkō ab bābā kē sāth jānā hai . ham[pn.pl.kō] ab[adv.] bābā kē sāth[x] jānnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23]|jānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . we[.kō] now Baba with (know[pres-perf.sg.m.23]|go[pres.sg.23.oblig1]) .
31We now have to go back with Baba.
30जैसे बाबा का यह पुराना शरीर है , तुम आत्माओं का भी यह पुराना शरीर है . jaisē bābā kā yah purānā śharīr hai , tum ātmāō̃ kā bhī yah purānā śharīr hai . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bābā kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] yah[pn.sg.d.] purānā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , tum[pn.pl.] ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] yah[pn.sg.d.] purānā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . like Baba of this old body be[pres.sg.23] , you soul of too this old body be[pres.sg.23] .
32Just as this is Baba’s old body, so you souls also have old bodies.
31पुरानी जुत्ती को छोड़ना है . purānī juttī kō chhōṛnā hai . purānā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] juttī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] chhōṛnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . old pair of shoes to renounce[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
33You have to renounce those old shoes.
32जैसे मेरा इसमें ममत्व नहीं है , तुम भी इस पुरानी जुत्ती से ममत्व निकालो . jaisē mērā ismē̃ mamatva nahī̃ hai , tum bhī is purānī juttī sē mamatva nikālō . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] maĩ[pn.sg.kā] yah[pn.sg.mē̃] mamatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , tum[pn.pl.] bhī[p.] yah[pn.sg.o.] purānā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] juttī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sē[postp.] mamatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] nikālnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . like I[.kā] this[.mē̃] attachment not be[pres.sg.23] , you too this old pair of shoes from attachment x[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
34Just as I don’t have any attachment to this one, so you too have to remove your attachment from those old shoes.
33तुमको ममत्व रखने की आदत पड़ी हुई है . tumkō mamatva rakhnē kī|key ādat paṛī huī hai . tum[pn.pl.kō] mamatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] rakhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|karnā[past-part.f.]|key ādat[n.f.;sg.] paṛnā[past-part.f.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] . you[.kō] attachment keep[inf.m.pl.,o.] (of|do[past-part.f.]|key) habit fall[past-part.f.] be[pres-perf.sg.f.23] .
35You have the habit of attachment.
34हमको आदत नहीं है . hamkō ādat nahī̃ hai . ham[pn.pl.kō] ādat[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . we[.kō] habit not be[pres.sg.23] .
36I don’t have that habit.
35मैं जीते जी मरा हुआ हूँ . maĩ jītē jī marā huā hū̃ . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] jītē jī[x] marnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.1] . I x die[past-part.m.sg.d.] be[pres-perf.sg.m.1] .
37I have died alive.
36तुमको भी जीते जी मरना है . tumkō bhī jītē jī marnā hai . tum[pn.pl.kō] bhī[p.] jītē jī marnā[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you[.kō] too die alive[x] be[pres.sg.23] .
38You too have to die alive.
37मेरे साथ चलना है तो अब यह प्रैक्टिस करो . mērē sāth chalnā hai tō ab yah practice karō . maĩ[pn.sg.kē] sāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] chalnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] tō ab[adv.] yah[pn.sg.d.] practice karnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . I[.kē] with continue[pres.sg.23.oblig1] then now this practice do[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .

38शरीर का कितना भान रहता है , बात मत पूछो ! śharīr kā kitnā bhān rahtā hai , bāt mat pūchhō ! śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhān[n.m.;sg.,d.] rahnā[pres.sg.m.23] , bāt[n.f.;sg.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] pūchhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] ! body of so awareness remain[pres.sg.m.23] , matter directions ask[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] !
40You have so much awareness of the body, don’t even ask!
39शरीर रोगी हो जाता है तो भी आत्मा उसको छोड़ती नहीं है , इससे ममत्व निकालना पड़े . śharīr rōgī hō jātā hai tō bhī ātmā uskō chhōṛtī nahī̃ hai , issē mamatva nikālnā paṛē . śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] rōgī[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] tō bhī[x] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] vah[pn.sg.kō] chhōṛnā[pres-part.f.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , yah[pn.sg.sē] mamatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] nikālnā[opt.sg.23.oblig2] . body ill be[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] ∅ soul that[.kō] renounce[pres-part.f.] not be[pres.sg.23] , this[.sē] attachment x[opt.sg.23.oblig2] .
41Even when the body is diseased, the soul doesn’t leave it alone. 42You have to break your attachment to it.
40हमको तो बाबा के साथ जाना जरूर है . hamkō tō bābā kē sāth jānā jarūr hai . ham[pn.pl.kō] tō bābā kē sāth[x] jānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|jānā[inf.m.sg.d.] zarūr hōnā[pres.sg.23] . we[.kō] then Baba with (know[past-part.m.sg.d.]|go[inf.m.sg.d.]) definitely be[pres.sg.23] .
43We definitely have to go back home with Baba.
41अपने को शरीर से न्यारा समझना है . apnē kō śharīr sē nyārā samajhnā hai . apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] nyārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] samajhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . one’s own to body from unique understand[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . 42इसको ही जीते जी मरना कहा जाता है . iskō hī jītē jī marnā kahā jātā hai . yah[pn.sg.kō] hī[p.] jītē jī marnā[x] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] . this[.kō] only die alive[x] (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) .
44You have to consider yourselves to be separate from those bodies. 45This is called dying alive.
43अपना घर ही याद रहता है . apnā ghar hī yād rahtā hai . apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.]|apnānā[root] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] yād[n.f.;sg.] rahnā[pres.sg.m.23] . (one’s own|adopt[root]) home only remembrance remain[pres.sg.m.23] .
46Just remember your home.
44तुम जन्म-जन्मान्तर से इस शरीर में रहते आये हो इसलिए तुमको मेहनत करनी पड़ती है . tum janma-janmāntar sē is śharīr mē̃ rahtē āyē hō isliē tumkō mēhnat karnī paṛtī hai . tum[pn.pl.] janma-janmāntar sē[postp.] yah[pn.sg.o.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[pres-perf.pl.m.2.pres-part+ānā] isliē tum[pn.pl.kō] mēhnat[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres.sg.f.23.oblig2] . you x from this body in remain[pres-perf.pl.m.2.pres-part+ānā] therefore you[.kō] effort do[pres.sg.f.23.oblig2] .
47You have been living in a body for birth after birth and this is why you have to make effort. 48You have to die alive.
45जीते जी मरना पड़ता है . jītē jī marnā paṛtā hai . jītē jī marnā[x] paṛnā[pres.sg.m.23] . die alive[x] fall[pres.sg.m.23] .
49I only enter this one temporarily.
46मैं तो इसमें आता ही टैप्रेरी हूँ . maĩ tō ismē̃ ātā hī tempory hū̃ . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] tō yah[pn.sg.mē̃] ānā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] temporary hōnā[pres.sg.1] . I then this[.mē̃] come[pres-part.m.sg.d.] only temporarily be[pres.sg.1] . 47तो मरकर चलने से अर्थात् अपने को आत्मा समझकर चलने से कोई भी देहधारी में ममत्व नहीं रहेगा . tō markar chalnē sē arthāt apnē kō ātmā samajhkar chalnē sē kōī bhī dēhdhārī mē̃ mamatva nahī̃ rahēgā . tō marnā[abs.] chalnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] arthāt apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kō[postp.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] samajhnā[abs.] chalnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] kōī bhī[x] dēhdhārī[adj.] mē̃[postp.] mamatva[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] rahnā[fut.m.sg.23] . then die[abs.] continue[inf.m.pl.,o.] from that is one’s own to soul understand[abs.] continue[inf.m.pl.,o.] from anyone bodily being in attachment not remain[fut.m.sg.23] .
50So, by moving along while considering yourselves to be dead, that is, by considering yourselves to be souls, there won’t be attachment to any bodily beings.
48अक्सर करके किसी न किसी का किसी में मोह हो जाता है . aksar karkē kisī na kisī kā kisī mē̃ mōh hō jātā hai . aksar karnā[abs.] kōī[pn.sg.o.]|kuchh[pn.sg.o.] na[neg] kōī[pn.sg.o.]|kuchh[pn.sg.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kōī[pn.sg.o.]|kuchh[pn.sg.o.] mē̃[postp.] mōh[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . generally do[abs.] (some|anything) not (some|anything) of (some|anything) in attachment be[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . 49बस , उनको देखने बिगर रह नहीं सकते . bas , unkō dēkhnē bigar rah nahī̃ saktē . basnā[root]|bas , vah[pn.pl.kō] dēkhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] bigar rahnā[root] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . 51Generally, everyone has attachment to someone or other, and they can’t stay without seeing that person.
50यह देहधारी की याद एक-दम उड़ा देनी चाहिए क्योंकि बहुत बड़ी मंज़िल है . yah dēhdhārī kī|key yād ēk-dam uṛā dēnī chāhiē kyōṅki bahut baṛī mañzil hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] dēhdhārī[adj.] kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|karnā[past-part.f.]|key yād[n.f.;sg.] ēkdam uṛnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|uṛānā[root] dēnā[.oblig3] kyōṅki bahut baṛī mañzil hai[x] . this bodily being (of|do[past-part.f.]|key) remembrance x (fly[past-part.m.sg.d.]|x[root]) give[.oblig3] because the destination is very high .
52You should completely remove the remembrance of bodily beings because the destination is very high.

131People make donations and perform charity etc. in order to receive something in their next birth.
