183By giving their daughter away, they are at least saved from the burden of all the expenditure, because they don’t know what is in the daughter’s fortune as to whether or not she will find a happy home.
185आजकल खर्चा भी बहुत लगता है . ājkal kharchā bhī bahut lagtā hai . ājkal kharch, kharchā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] bhī[p.] bahut lagnā[pres.sg.m.23] . nowadays expenditure too very x[pres.sg.m.23] .

186Earlier, a native woman used to come here, but they didn’t allow her to take this knowledge because they were afraid of magic.
God to Magician too say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
187God is called the Magician.
190रहमदिल भी भगवान को ही कहेंगे . merciful bhī bhagvān kō hī kahē̃gē . merciful bhī[p.] bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . merciful too God to only say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
188God is also called the Merciful One.
191श्रीकृष्ण को थोड़ेही कहेंगे . śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kō thōṛēhī kahē̃gē . śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] thōṛēhī kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . Shri Krishna to not say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
189Shri Krishna cannot be called that.
192रहमदिल वह जो बेरहमी से छुड़ाये . merciful vah jō bērahmī sē chhuṛāyē . merciful vah[pn.sg.d.] jō[pn.;d.] bērahmī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sē[postp.] chhuṛānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] . merciful that that mercilessness from free[past-part.m.pl.,o.] .
190The Merciful One is the One who liberates you from the merciless one.
193बेरहमी है रावण . bērahmī hai rāvaṇ . bērahmī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] . mercilessness be[pres.sg.23] Ravan .
191Ravan is merciless.
194पहले-पहले है ज्ञान . pahlē-pahlē hai gyān . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] . (x|firstly) be[pres.sg.23] knowledge .
192First there is this knowledge.
195ज्ञान , भक्ति फिर वैराग्य . gyān , bhakti phir vairāgya . gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] , bhakti[n.f.;sg.] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] . knowledge , devotion (then|turn[root]) disinterest .
193There is this knowledge, then devotion and disinterest.
, gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . it isn't that that devotion , knowledge (then|turn[root]) disinterest say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
194It is not said: Devotion, knowledge and then disinterest.
197ज्ञान का वैराग्य थोड़ेही कह सकते . gyān kā vairāgya thōṛēhī kah saktē . gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] thōṛēhī kahnā[root] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . knowledge of disinterest not say[root] can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .
195You cannot say “Disinterest in knowledge”.
198भक्ति का वैराग्य करना होता है इसलिए ज्ञान , भक्ति , वैराग्य यह राइट अक्षर हैं . bhakti kā vairāgya karnā hōtā hai isliē gyān , bhakti , vairāgya yah right akṣhar haĩ . bhakti[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.sg.m.23.oblig1] isliē gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] , bhakti[n.f.;sg.] , vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] yah[pn.sg.d.] right akṣhar[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . devotion of disinterest do[pres.sg.m.23.oblig1] therefore knowledge , devotion , disinterest this right word be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
196You have to have disinterest in devotion. 197This is why the expression “Knowledge, devotion and disinterest” is right.
199बाप तुमको बेहद का अर्थात् पुरानी दुनिया का वैराग्य कराते हैं . bāp tumkō bēhad kā arthāt purānī duniyā kā vairāgya karātē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] tum[pn.pl.kō] bēhad kā[x] arthāt purānā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . father you[.kō] unlimited that is old world of disinterest make commit[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
198The Father enables you to have unlimited disinterest, that is, disinterest in the whole of the old world.
200संन्यासी तो सिर्फ घरबार से वैराग्य कराते हैं . sannyāsī tō sirph gharbār sē vairāgya karātē haĩ . sannyāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō sirph[adj.] gharbār[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] vairāgya[n.m.;sg.,d.] karānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . sannyasi then only x from disinterest make commit[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
199Sannyasis only inspire you to have disinterest in your household.
201यह भी ड्रामा में नूंध है . yah bhī drama mē̃ nūndh hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] drama mē̃[postp.] nūndh[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this too drama in fixed be[pres.sg.23] .
200That too is predestined in the drama.

201This does not sit in the intellects of human beings.
