20How can you know whether someone takes 84 births or 10 births or 20 births?

174यह है नॉलेज . yah hai knowledge . yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] knowledge . this be[pres.sg.23] knowledge .
182This is knowledge.
175बाप ही नॉलेजफुल , पतित-पावन है . bāp hī knowledgeful , patit-pāvan hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] knowledgeful , patit pāvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . father only knowledgeful , Purifier be[pres.sg.23] .
183Only the Father is the knowledge-full One, the Purifier.
176आदि-मध्य-अन्त की नॉलेज सुना रहे हैं . ādi-madhy-ant kī|key knowledge sunā rahē haĩ . ādi-madhya-ant karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key knowledge sunānā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] . the beginning, the middle and the end (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) knowledge speak[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] .
184He gives us this knowledge of the beginning, the middle and the end.
177वह सब नेती-नेती करते आये हैं . vah sab nētī-nētī kartē āyē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] nētī[x] karnā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+ānā] . that all Neti do[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+ānā] .
185All of them have been saying, "Neti, neti" (neither this nor that).
178अपनी आत्मा को ही नहीं जानते तो बाप को फिर कैसे जानेंगे ? apnī ātmā kō hī nahī̃ jāntē tō bāp kō phir kaisē jānē̃gē ? apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] tō bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] jānnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ? one’s own soul to only not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] then father to (turn[root]|then) how know[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ?
186They do not know their own souls, and so how could they know the Father?
. only say[inf.m.pl.,o.] just say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] , soul what thing be[pres.sg.23] , anything not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .
187They simply speak of the soul for the sake of it; they do not know anything.
180तुम अभी जानते हो आत्मा अविनाशी है , उसमें 84 जन्मों का अविनाशी पार्ट नूँधा हुआ है . tum abhī jāntē hō ātmā avināśhī hai , usmē̃ 84 janmō̃ kā avināśhī part nūndhā huā hai . tum[pn.pl.] ab[adv.hī] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] avināśhī[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.sg.mē̃] 84 janm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] avināśhī[adj.] part[n.m.;sg.,d.] nūndhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . you now know[pres.pl.m.2] soul imperishable be[pres.sg.23] , that[.mē̃] 84 life of imperishable part x be[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .

216These are very deep matters and have to be understood.
208मुख्य बात ही है पतित से पावन बनने लिए बुद्धियोग लगाना है . mukhya bāt hī hai patit sē pāvan bannē liē buddhiyōg lagānā hai . mukhya[adj.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] patit[adj.] sē[postp.] pāvan[adj.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|liē buddhiyōg[n.m.;sg.,d.] lagānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . main matter only be[pres.sg.23] impure from pure become[inf.m.pl.,o.] (take[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|for) intellect’s yoga attach[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
217The main thing is to connect your intellects in yoga to the Father in order to become pure from impure.
209पावन बनने की प्रतिज्ञा कर फिर अगर पतित बनते हैं तो हडगुड एकदम टूट पड़ती हैं , जैसेकि 5 मंजिल से गिरते हैं . pāvan bannē kī|key pratigyā kar phir agar patit bantē haĩ tō haḍguḍ ēkdam ṭūṭ paṛtī haĩ , jaisēki 5 mañjil sē girtē haĩ . pāvan[adj.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key pratigyā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[root] phirnā[root]|phir[adv.] agar patit[adj.] bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō haḍguḍ[n.m.;sg.,d.] ēkdam ṭūṭnā[pres.pl.f.12hon3.root+paṛnā] , jaisēki 5 mañzil[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] girnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . pure become[inf.m.pl.,o.] (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) x do[root] (turn[root]|then) if impure become[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then bone x break[pres.pl.f.12hon3.root+paṛnā] , x 5 destination from fall down[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
218If you promise to become pure, but you then become impure, your bones will be totally crushed. 219It will be as though you fall from the fifth floor of a building.
210बुद्धि ही मलेच्छ की हो जायेगी , दिल अन्दर खाता रहेगा . buddhi hī mlēchchh kī hō jāyēgī , dil andar khātā rahēgā . buddhi[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] mlēchchh[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres-perf.pl.f.2] jānā[fut.f.sg.23] , dil[n.m.;sg.,d.] andar khānā[fut.m.sg.23.pres-part+rahnā] . intellect only x do[pres-perf.pl.f.2] go[fut.f.sg.23] , heart inside eat[fut.m.sg.23.pres-part+rahnā] .
220Your intellect would become totally unclean and your conscience would begin to bite you.
211मुख से कुछ निकलेगा नहीं इसलिए बाप कहते हैं खबरदार रहो . mukh sē kuchh nikalēgā nahī̃ isliē bāp kahtē haĩ khabardār rahō . mukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] kuchh nikalnā[fut.m.sg.23] nahī̃[neg] isliē bāp kahtē haĩ[x] khabardār[adj.] rahnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . mouth from anything be extracted[fut.m.sg.23] not therefore the Father says cautious remain[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
221You would then not be able to speak about any of this. 222This is why the Father says: Remain cautious!
