101शिवबाबा तो है ही सबको हीरा बनाने वाला . śhivbābā tō hai hī sabkō hīrā banānē vālā . śhivbābā tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] sabkō hīrā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.]|hīrā[n.f.;sg.] banānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] . Shiv Baba then be[pres.sg.23] only everything (diamond|x) create[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who .
97Shiv Baba is the One who makes everyone into diamonds.
102मैं तो एवर गोरा मुसाफिर हूँ . maĩ tō ever gōrā musāphir hū̃ . maĩ[pn.sg.d.] tō ever gōrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] musāphir[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.1] . I then ever beautiful x be[pres.sg.1] .
98I am the everbeautiful Traveller.
I[.nē] what do[past-part.m.sg.d.] that I[.kō] ugly create[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
99What did I do that you have shown Me as ugly?
104अब तुमको भी गोरा बनना है ऊंच पद पाने लिए . ab tumkō bhī gōrā bannā hai ūñch pad pānē liē . ab[adv.] tum[pn.pl.kō] bhī[p.] gōrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bannā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pad[n.m.;sg.,d.] pānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|liē . now you[.kō] too beautiful become[pres.sg.23.oblig1] elevated status x[inf.m.pl.,o.] (take[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|for) .
100You too now have to become beautiful in order to claim a high status.
105ऊंच पद कैसे पाना है ? ūñch pad kaisē pānā hai ? ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pad[n.m.;sg.,d.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] pānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ? elevated status how x[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ?
101How will you claim a high status?
106वह तो बाप ने समझाया है फालो फादर . vah tō bāp nē samjhāyā hai follow father . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] samjhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] follow father[x] . that then father ∅ explain[pres-perf.sg.m.23] follow the Father .
102The Father has explained: Do that by following the father.
107जैसे इसने ( बाबा ने ) सब-कुछ बाप के हवाले कर दिया . jaisē isnē ( bābā nē ) sab-kuchh bāp kē|K havālē kar diyā . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] yah[pn.sg.nē] ( bābā nē[postp.] ) sab kuchh[pn.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|K havālē karnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+dēnā] . like this[.nē] ( Baba ∅ ) everything father (of|K) give .
103This one (Brahma Baba) gave everything to the Father.
108फादर को देखो कैसे सब कुछ दे दिया . father kō dēkhō kaisē sab kuchh dē diyā . father kō[postp.] dēkhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sab kuchh[x] dēnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+dēnā] . father to see[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] how everything give[past-part.m.sg.d..root+dēnā] . 109भल साधारण थे , न बहुत गरीब , न बहुत साहूकार थे . bhal sādhāraṇ thē , na bahut garīb , na bahut sāhūkār thē . bhal sādhāraṇ[adj.] hōnā[past.pl] , na[neg] bahut garīb[adj.] , na[neg] bahut sāhūkār[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past.pl] . although ordinary be[past.pl] , not very x , not very wealthy be[past.pl] .
104Look how the father gave everything away, even though he was ordinary – neither very wealthy nor very poor.
110बाबा अभी भी कहते हैं तुम्हारा खान पान बीच का साधारण होना चाहिए . bābā abhī bhī kahtē haĩ tumhārā khān pān bīch kā sādhāraṇ hōnā chāhiē . bābā ab[adv.hī] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tum[pn.pl.kā] khānā[n.m.;sg.,d.] pān[n.m.;sg.,d.] bīch kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sādhāraṇ[adj.] hōnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|hōnā[.oblig3] . Baba now too say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] you[.kā] eat[n.m.;sg.,d.] drink centre of ordinary (be[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|be[.oblig3]) . 111न बहुत ऊंच , न बहुत कम . na bahut ūñch , na bahut cum|kam . na[neg] bahut ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] , na[neg] bahut cum|kam[adj.] . not very elevated , not very (x|less) .
105Even now Baba says: Your food and drink should be of an ordinary level; it should neither be too rich nor too plain.
112बाप ही सब शिक्षा देते हैं . bāp hī sab śhikṣhā dētē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] sab[adj.] śhikṣhā[n.f.;sg.] dēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . father only all teachings give[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
106The Father gives you all of these teachings.
113यह भी देखने में तो साधारण ही आते हैं . yah bhī dēkhnē mē̃ tō sādhāraṇ hī ātē haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] dēkhnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] mē̃[postp.] tō sādhāraṇ[adj.] hī[p.] ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . this too see[inf.m.pl.,o.] in then ordinary only come[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
107This one is also ordinary to look at.
114तुमको कहते है कहाँ है भगवान् , दिखाओ . tumkō kahtē hai kahā̃ hai bhagvān , dikhāō . tum[pn.pl.kō] kahnā[x] kahā̃ hōnā[pres.sg.23] bhagvān[x] , dikhānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . you[.kō] say[x] where be[pres.sg.23] God , x[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .
108People say to you: Where is God? 109Show Him to me.
115अरे , आत्मा बिन्दी है , उनको देखेंगे क्या ! arē , ātmā bindī hai , unkō dēkhē̃gē kyā ! arē , ātmā[n.f.;sg.] bindī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.pl.kō] dēkhnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] kyā ! Oh! , soul point be[pres.sg.23] , that[.kō] see[fut.m.pl.12hon3] what !
110A soul is just a point; how can you see it?
116यह तो जानते हो आत्मा का साक्षात्कार इन आंखों से होता नहीं . yah tō jāntē hō ātmā kā sākṣhātkār in āṅkhō̃ sē hōtā nahī̃ . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sākṣhātkār[n.m.;sg.,d.] yah[pn.pl.o.]|in āṅkh[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] hōnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] . this then know[pres.pl.m.2] soul of vision (this|in) eye from be[pres-part.m.sg.d.] not .
111You know that you cannot have a vision of a soul with those eyes.
śharīrdhārī[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] . you say[pres.pl.m.2] God teach[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then definitely some bodily being be[fut.m.sg.23] .
112You say that God is teaching you and so there must surely be a bodily being too.
118निराकार कैसे पढ़ायेंगे . nirākār kaisē paṛhāyēṅgē . nirākār[adj.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] paṛhānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . incorporeal how teach[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
113How could the incorporeal One teach you?
119मनुष्यों को तो कुछ भी पता नहीं है . manuṣhyō̃ kō tō kuchh bhī patā nahī̃ hai . manuṣhya[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] tō kuchh bhī[x] patā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . human being to then anything knowledge not be[pres.sg.23] .
114People don't know anything at all.
120जैसे तुम आत्मा हो , शरीर द्वारा पार्ट बजाते हो . jaisē tum ātmā hō , śharīr dvārā part bajātē hō . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tum[pn.pl.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] , śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] dvārā part bajānā[pres.pl.m.2] . like you soul (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) , body through play one's part . 121आत्मा ही पार्ट बजाती है . ātmā hī part bajātī hai . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] part bajānā[pres.sg.f.23] . soul only play one's part .
115Just as you are souls and you play your parts through bodies, so the Soul too speaks through a body.
122आत्मा ही बोलती है , शरीर द्वारा . ātmā hī bōltī hai , śharīr dvārā . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] bōlnā[pres.sg.f.23] , śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] dvārā . soul only speak[pres.sg.f.23] , body through . 123तो आत्मा वाच . tō ātmā vāch . tō ātmā[n.f.;sg.] vāch[n.f.;sg.] . then soul who speaks . 124परन्तु आत्मा वाच शोभता नहीं . parantu ātmā vāch śhōbhtā nahī̃ . parantu[conj.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] vāch[n.f.;sg.] śhōbhnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] . however soul who speaks x[pres-part.m.sg.d.] not .
116So, there are the versions spoken by the Soul, but it doesn't seem right to say, "Versions of the Soul".
125आत्मा तो वानप्रस्थ , वाणी से परे है , वाच तो शरीर से ही करेगी . ātmā tō vānaprasth , vāṇī sē parē hai , vāch tō śharīr sē hī karēgī . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] tō vānprasth[n.m.;sg.,d.] , vāṇī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sē[postp.] par hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vāch[n.f.;sg.] tō śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] hī[p.] karnā[fut.f.sg.23] . soul then retirement , words from other be[pres.sg.23] , who speaks then body from only do[fut.f.sg.23] .
117The Soul is in the stage of retirement, beyond sound, and he would only speak through a body.
126वाणी से परे सिर्फ आत्मा ही रह जाती है . vāṇī sē parē sirph ātmā hī rah jātī hai . vāṇī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sē[postp.] par sirph[adj.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] rahnā[pres.sg.f.23.root+jānā] . words from other only soul only remain[pres.sg.f.23.root+jānā] .
118It is only souls that resides beyond sound.
127वाणी में आना है तो शरीर जरूर चाहिए . vāṇī mē̃ ānā hai tō śharīr jarūr chāhiē . vāṇī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] ānā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] tō śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] zarūr chāhiē|chāhnā[imp.pl.2hon] . words in come[pres.sg.23.oblig1] then body definitely (should|x[imp.pl.2hon]) .
119If you want to come into sound, you definitely need a body.
128बाप भी ज्ञान का सागर है तो जरूर किसके शरीर का आधार लेगा ना . bāp bhī gyān kā sāgar hai tō jarūr kiskē śharīr kā ādhār lēgā nā . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] gyān kā sāgar[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō zarūr kaun[pn.sg.kē] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] ādhār[n.m.;sg.,d.] lēnā[fut.m.sg.23] nā . father too x be[pres.sg.23] then definitely who[.kē] body of basis take[fut.m.sg.23] ∅ .
120The Father is also the Ocean of Knowledge and so He would definitely take the support of someone's body.
129उसको रथ कहा जाता है . uskō rath kahā jātā hai . vah[pn.sg.kō] rath[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] . that[.kō] chariot (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) .
121This one is called the chariot.
130नहीं तो वह सुनाये कैसे ? nahī̃ tō vah sunāyē kaisē ? nahī̃ tō[x] vah[pn.sg.d.] sunānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ? otherwise that speak[past-part.m.pl.,o.] how ?
122How else would He speak to you?
131बाप पतित से पावन बनने लिए शिक्षा देते हैं . bāp patit sē pāvan bannē liē śhikṣhā dētē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] patit[adj.] sē[postp.] pāvan[adj.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|liē śhikṣhā[n.f.;sg.] dēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . father impure from pure become[inf.m.pl.,o.] (take[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|for) teachings give[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
123The Father is giving you teachings to make you pure from impure.
132प्रेरणा की बात नहीं . prērṇā kī|key bāt nahī̃ . prērṇā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key bāt[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] . inspiration (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) matter not .
124There is no question of inspiration.
133यह तो ज्ञान की बात है . yah tō gyān kī|key bāt hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.]|key bāt[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this then knowledge (do[past-part.f.]|of|key) matter be[pres.sg.23] .
125These are matters of knowledge.
134वह आये कैसे ? vah āyē kaisē ? vah[pn.sg.d.] ānā[opt.sg.23]|ānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ? that (come[opt.sg.23]|come[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) how ?
126How can He come?
135किसके शरीर में आये ? kiskē śharīr mē̃ āyē ? kaun[pn.sg.kē] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] ānā[opt.sg.23]|ānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] ? who[.kē] body in (come[opt.sg.23]|come[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) ?
127Whose body would He enter?
136आयेगा तो जरूर मनुष्य में ही . āyēgā tō jarūr manuṣhya mē̃ hī . ānā[fut.m.sg.23] tō zarūr manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] . come[fut.m.sg.23] then definitely human being in only .
128He would surely enter the body of a human being.
