22Here, people celebrate the anniversary of Gandhiji with so much splendour. 23It isn't that Shiv Baba will go away, having given you knowledge, and that you will then celebrate His birthday in the golden age; no.

24For half a cycle, you won't celebrate anniversaries or hold any ceremonies for those who leave their bodies. 25Cows won't be donated; departed spirits will not be fed.

23सतयुग में तुम इस समय की प्रालब्ध खाते हो . satyug mē̃ tum is samay key|kī prālabdh khātē hō . satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] tum[pn.pl.] is samay[x] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] prālabdh[n.f.;sg.] khānā[pres.pl.m.2] . golden age in you at this time (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) reward eat[pres.pl.m.2] .

27However, in the golden age, you experience the reward of this time.

28Therefore, there is a difference between the customs and systems of devotion and the customs and systems of knowledge. 29Those who have broad intellects will be able to understand these things.

26गीत सुना चारों तरफ लगाये फेरे . . फिर भी हरदम दूर रहे . . बाप कहते हैं तुमने भक्ति मार्ग में कितना माथा मारा है फिर भी मुझसे मिल न सके क्योंकि जब मैं आऊं तब तो मुझे मिल सको . gīt sunā chārō̃ taraph lagāyē phērē . . phir bhī hardam dūr rahē . . bāp kahtē haĩ tumnē bhakti mārg mē̃ kitnā māthā mārā hai phir bhī mujhsē mil na sakē kyōṅki jab maĩ āū̃ tab tō mujhē mil sakō . gīt[n.m.;sg.,d.] sunnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|sunānā[root] chārō̃ taraph[x] lagānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] phērā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]|phērnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|phērnā[opt.sg.23] . . phir bhī[x] hardam dūr[adj.] rahnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|rahnā[opt.sg.23] . . bāp kahtē haĩ[x] tum[pn.pl.nē] bhakti mārg[x] mē̃[postp.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] māthā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] mārnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] phir bhī[x] maĩ[pn.sg.sē] milnā[root] na[neg] saknā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|saknā[opt.sg.23] kyōṅki jab maĩ[pn.sg.d.] ānā[opt.sg.1] tab tō maĩ[pn.sg.kō] milnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+saknā] . x (listen[past-part.m.sg.d.]|speak[root]) everywhere attach[past-part.m.pl.,o.] (going around|go around[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|go around[opt.sg.23]) . . nevertheless constantly distant (remain[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|remain[opt.sg.23]) . . the Father says you[.nē] path of devotion in so x beat[pres-perf.sg.m.23] nevertheless I[.sē] receive[root] not (can[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|can[opt.sg.23]) because when I come[opt.sg.1] for only then then I[.kō] receive[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+saknā] .

30Those who had broad intellects in the previous cycle will have broad intellects now, because they have to play those same parts again. 31You heard in the song how you went around in all directions and how you still remained distant.

33I only come at the confluence age of every cycle.

30तो यह रांग है ना . tō yah wrong hai nā . tō yah[pn.sg.d.] wrong hōnā[pres.sg.23] nā . then this x be[pres.sg.23] ∅ .

34People say that God comes in every age.

ānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , ānā[abs.] patit[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] pāvan banānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . I[.kō] call[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that Purifier come[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , come[abs.] impure to x .

35They then say that God has 24 incarnations. 36Therefore, that is wrong.

32तो अब तुम्हारी युद्ध है माया रावण से . tō ab tumhārī yuddha hai māyā rāvaṇ sē . tō ab[adv.] tum[pn.pl.kī] yuddh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] māyā[n.f.;sg.] rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] . then now you[.kī] battle be[pres.sg.23] Maya Ravan from .

37People call out to Me: “O Purifier, come!” 38Come and make us impure ones pure with.

33तुम्हारी कोई स्थूल युद्ध नहीं है . tumhārī kōī sthūl yuddha nahī̃ hai . tum[pn.pl.kī] kōī[pn.;d.] sthūl[adj.] yuddh[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you[.kī] some physical battle not be[pres.sg.23] .

39So, your war is now with Maya, Ravan.

34तुम रावण पर जीत पाते हो . tum rāvaṇ par jīt pātē hō . tum[pn.pl.] rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] jītnā[pres.pl.m.2.root+pānā] . you Ravan (at|other) x[pres.pl.m.2.root+pānā] .

44So you have to conquer that vice, that is, you have to become pure.

38जब खुद पवित्र बनते हो तो बच्चों को भी पवित्र बनाना पड़े , ताकि वह भी विश्व के मालिक बन जायें . jab khud pavitra bantē hō tō bachchō̃ kō bhī pavitra banānā paṛē , tāki vah bhī viśhva K|kē mālik ban jāyē̃ . jab khud pavitr[adj.] bannā[pres.pl.m.2] tō bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] bhī[p.] pavitra banānā[opt.sg.23.oblig2] , tāki vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] viśhva[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[opt.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] . when oneself pure become[pres.pl.m.2] then child to too x , x that too world (K|of) master become[opt.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] .

45When you become pure yourselves, you also have to make your children pure, so that they too can become the masters of the world.

60He is the Supreme Teacher and so you children have to pay full attention to this study.

53यह सुप्रीम टीचर भी है , तो बच्चों को पढ़ाई पर पूरा ध्यान देना चाहिए . yah supreme teacher bhī hai , tō bachchō̃ kō paṛhāī par pūrā dhyān dēnā chāhiē . yah[pn.sg.d.] supreme teacher bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , tō bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] pūrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dhyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|dēnā[.oblig3] . this supreme teacher too be[pres.sg.23] , then child to (study|teach[past-part.f.]) (at|other) full attention (give[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|give[.oblig3]) . 54बहुत हैं जिनको पढ़ाई का कदर नहीं है . bahut haĩ jinkō paṛhāī kā kadar nahī̃ hai . bahut hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] jō[pn.pl.kō] paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kadar[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . very be[pres.pl.12hon3] that[.kō] (study|teach[past-part.f.]) of value not be[pres.sg.23] .

61There are many who don't value this study at all. 62For instance, if someone is very ill and about to die, he too should be brought to class.

55समझो कोई सख्त बीमार है , मरने पर है , उसको भी क्लास में ले आना चाहिए . samjhō kōī sakht bīmār hai , marnē par hai , uskō bhī class mē̃ lē ānā chāhiē . samajhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] kōī[pn.;d.] sakht[adj.] bīmār[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , marnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.sg.kō] bhī[p.] class mē̃[postp.] lēnā[root]|lēnā[opt.sg.23] ānā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|ānā[.oblig3] . understand[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] some strictly those who are ill be[pres.sg.23] , die[inf.m.pl.,o.] (at|other) be[pres.sg.23] , that[.kō] too class in (take[root]|take[opt.sg.23]) (come[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|come[.oblig3]) . 56कहते हैं ज्ञान अमृत मुख में हो , गंगा का तट हो . . . . तब प्राण तन से निकले . kahtē haĩ gyān amr̥it mukh mē̃ hō , gaṅgā kā taṭ hō . . . . tab prāṇ tan sē nikalē . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] gyān amr̥it[x] mukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] , gaṅgā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] taṭ[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] . . . . tab prāṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] tan[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] nikalnā[opt.sg.23]|nikalnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] x mouth in (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) , Ganges of bank (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) . . . . for only then life body from (be extracted[opt.sg.23]|be extracted[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) .

63It is said that, when someone dies, he should have the nectar of knowledge on his lips, that he should be on the banks of the River Ganges, etc., and then he should leave his body.

57तो पढ़ाई का इतना कदर होना चाहिए . tō paṛhāī kā itnā kadar hōnā chāhiē . tō paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kadar[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|hōnā[.oblig3] . then (study|teach[past-part.f.]) of such value (be[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|be[.oblig3]) .

64So, there should be that much regard for this study.

58अगर लाचारी हालत में क्लास में नहीं ले जा सकते हो तो उनको घर में भी शिवबाबा याद कराना चाहिए . agar lāchārī hālat mē̃ class mē̃ nahī̃ lē jā saktē hō tō unkō ghar mē̃ bhī śhivbābā yād karānā chāhiē . agar lāchārī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hālat[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] class mē̃[postp.] nahī̃[neg] lē jānā[pres.pl.m.2.root+saknā] tō vah[pn.pl.kō] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] śhivbābā yād[n.f.;sg.] karānā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|karānā[.oblig3] . if compulsion situation in class in not carry then that[.kō] home in too Shiv Baba remembrance (make commit[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|make commit[.oblig3]) .

65If, in desperate circumstances, you cannot take someone to class, you should make that person remember Shiv Baba at home.

59परन्तु पढ़ाई पर बच्चों का पूरा ध्यान नहीं है . parantu paṛhāī par bachchō̃ kā pūrā dhyān nahī̃ hai . parantu[conj.] paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pūrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dhyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . however (study|teach[past-part.f.]) (at|other) child of full attention not be[pres.sg.23] .

66However, some children don't pay full attention to this study.

79You have to free yourself from your housework and engage yourselves in doing this service.

72सर्विस करना गवर्मेन्ट खुद सिखलाती है . service karnā government khud sikhlātī hai . service[n.f.;sg.] karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] government khud sikhlānā[pres.sg.f.23] . service do[inf.m.sg.d.] government oneself teach[pres.sg.f.23] .

80The Government itself teaches you how to do service.

73खिलाती , पिलाती है तो उनकी सर्विस भी करते हैं . khilātī , pilātī hai tō unkī service bhī kartē haĩ . khilānā[pres-part.f.] , pilānā[pres.sg.f.23] tō vah[pn.pl.kī] service[n.f.;sg.] bhī[p.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . feed[pres-part.f.] , x[pres.sg.f.23] then that[.kī] service too do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

81The Government feeds people, so people also have to serve it.

74यहाँ भी तुमको बाप सिखलाते हैं तो तुमको आन गॉडली सर्विस करनी है . yahā̃ bhī tumkō bāp sikhlātē haĩ tō tumkō on godly service karnī hai . yahā̃ bhī[p.] tum[pn.pl.kō] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] sikhlānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō tum[pn.pl.kō] on godly service[x] karnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . here too you[.kō] father teach[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then you[.kō] on Godly service do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .

82Here, too, the Father teaches you and so you have to do Godly service.

75सिर्फ ओनली सर्विस नहीं . sirph only service nahī̃ . sirph[adj.] only service[n.f.;sg.] nahī̃[neg] . only x service not .

83It isn't only service.

76ओनली हो गई सिर्फ अपनी बुद्धि की , खुद को पवित्र बनाना . only hō gaī sirph apnī buddhi key|kī , khud kō pavitra banānā . only hōnā[past-part.f..root+jānā] sirph[adj.] apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] , khud kō[postp.] pavitra banānā[x] . x be[past-part.f..root+jānā] only one’s own intellect (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) , oneself to x .

84If it were only service, that would be a matter of the intellect to make the self pure.

85However, we have to make Bharat into heaven.

78तो तुम्हारे ऊपर बहुत जिम्मेवारी है . tō tumhārē ūpar bahut jimmēvārī hai . tō tum[pn.pl.kē] ūpar bahut zimmēvārī, zimmēdārī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then you[.kē] over very responsibility be[pres.sg.23] . 79जैसे उस सेना पर जिम्मेवारी रहती है . jaisē us sēnā par jimmēvārī rahtī hai . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] vah[pn.sg.o.] sēnā[n.f.;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] zimmēvārī, zimmēdārī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] rahnā[pres.sg.f.23] . like that army (at|other) responsibility remain[pres.sg.f.23] .

86So you have a huge responsibility, just as other armies have responsibility.

80चीफ कमान्डर , कैप्टन आदि पर अधिक जवाबदारी रहती है . chief commander , captain ādi par adhik javābdārī rahtī hai . chief commander , captain ādi[adj.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] adhik javābdārī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] rahnā[pres.sg.f.23] . chief commander , captain etc. (at|other) -est x remain[pres.sg.f.23] .

87The Commander in Chief, the captains, etc. have the most responsibility.

88It is the same here.

82जो अच्छे-अच्छे बच्चे सेन्टर खोलते हैं वह हो गये कमान्डर . jō achchhē-achchhē bachchē centre khōltē haĩ vah hō gayē commander . jō[pn.;d.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] centre khōlnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] vah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] commander . that achcha child centre open[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that be[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] commander . 83तो उन पर जवाबदारी है . tō un par javābdārī hai . tō vah[pn.pl.o.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] javābdārī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then that (at|other) x be[pres.sg.23] .

89The good children who open centres are the commanders and so they have a responsibility.

84तो यह हर एक को देखना है कि हम सर्विस के बजाए कहाँ डिससर्विस तो नहीं करते हैं . tō yah har ēk kō dēkhnā hai ki ham service kē bajāē kahā̃ disservice tō nahī̃ kartē haĩ . tō yah[pn.sg.d.] har ēk[x] kō[postp.] dēkhnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] service[n.f.;sg.] kē bajāē[x] kahā̃ disservice tō nahī̃[neg] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . then this each one to see[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that we service instead of where disservice then not do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

90So, each of you has to look at yourself and see whether, instead of doing service, you are doing disservice.

85बहुत बच्चे हैं जो भाई-बहिनों से रूठकर पढ़ाई छोड़ देते हैं . bahut bachchē haĩ jō bhāī-bahinō̃ sē rūṭhkar paṛhāī chhōṛ dētē haĩ . bahut bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] jō[pn.;d.] bhāī-bahin[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] sē[postp.] rūṭhnā[abs.] paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] chhōṛnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] . very child be[pres.pl.12hon3] that brother and sister from sulk[abs.] (study|teach[past-part.f.]) renounce[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] .

91There are many children who sulk with brothers and sisters and then stop studying.

86यह नहीं समझते कि पढ़ाई छोड़ने से गुरू के निंदक ठौर नहीं पा सकेंगे अर्थात् सतयुग में ऊंच पद नहीं मिलेगा . yah nahī̃ samajhtē ki paṛhāī chhōṛnē sē gurū K|kē nindak ṭhaur nahī̃ pā sakē̃gē arthāt satyug mē̃ ūñch pad nahī̃ milēgā . yah[pn.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] samajhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] ki[conj.] paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] chhōṛnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] gurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nindak[adj.] ṭhaur[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] pānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+saknā] arthāt satyug[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pad[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] milnā[fut.m.sg.23] . this not understand[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] that (study|teach[past-part.f.]) renounce[inf.m.pl.,o.] from guru (K|of) one who defames the Father’s name x not x[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+saknā] that is golden age in elevated status not receive[fut.m.sg.23] .

92They don't understand that if they stop studying, they will be those who defame the Guru and won't be able to attain a high status, that is, they won't be able to claim a high status in the golden age.

87यहाँ बाप बच्चों का रजिस्टर मंगाते हैं , उससे समझ जाते हैं . yahā̃ bāp bachchō̃ kā register maṅgātē haĩ , ussē samajh jātē haĩ . yahā̃ bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] register maṅgānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , vah[pn.sg.sē] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] . here father child of register ask to bring[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , that[.sē] understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] . 88जैसे स्कूल में बाप , टीचर रजिस्टर से समझ जाते हैं कि यह बच्चा कहाँ तक पढ़ता होगा  ! jaisē school mē̃ bāp , teacher register sē samajh jātē haĩ ki yah bachchā kahā̃ tak paṛhtā hōgā  ! jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] school mē̃[postp.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] , teacher register sē[postp.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] kahā̃ tak[x] paṛhnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23]  ! like school in father , teacher register from understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] that this child to what extent study[pres-part.m.sg.d.] be[fut.m.sg.23]  !

93The Father asks for the register of the children, because He understands everything from that, just as in a school the father and teacher understand everything from the register as to how much a child is studying.

89कई बच्चे होते हैं जो सारा दिन खेलते रहते हैं और छुट्टी के टाइम पर घर आ जाते हैं कि हम पढ़कर आये हैं . kaī bachchē hōtē haĩ jō sārā din khēltē rahtē haĩ aur chhuṭṭī K|kē time par ghar ā jātē haĩ ki ham paṛhkar āyē haĩ . kaī bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] hōnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] jō[pn.;d.] sārā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] din[n.m.;sg.,d.] khēlnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] aur chhuṭṭī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] time par[postp.]|par[adj.] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] paṛhnā[abs.] ānā[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] . some child be[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that the whole day play[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] and permission (K|of) time (at|other) home come[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] that we study[abs.] come[pres-perf.pl.m.12hon3] .

94Some children continue to play all day long, and then, when school finishes, they go back home and say that they have just been to school to study.

95The parents of some children don't even look at the register of their children, and so they aren’t aware of anything.

106यह फिर कौन सी मुसीबत है  ! yah phir kaun C|see|sī musībat hai  ! yah[pn.sg.d.] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] kaun[pn.;d.] C|see|sā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] musībat[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23]  ! this (then|turn[root]) who (x|see) difficulty be[pres.sg.23]  !

111What kind of difficulty is this? 112Oh!

107अरे तुम कहते हो हमको गृहस्थ व्यवहार में रह राजा जनक के मुआफिक जीवनमुक्ति चाहिए , तो फिर प्रवृत्ति में पवित्र रहना पड़े . arē tum kahtē hō hamkō gr̥ihastha vyavahār mē̃ rah rājā janak K|kē muāphik jīvanmukti chāhiē , tō phir pravr̥itti mē̃ pavitra rahnā paṛē . arē tum[pn.pl.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.2] ham[pn.pl.kō] gr̥ihasth[n.m.;sg.,d.] vyavahār[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] rahnā[root] rājā[n.m.;sg.,d.] janak[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] muāphik jīvanmukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] chāhiē|chāhnā[imp.pl.2hon] , tō phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] pravr̥itti[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] pavitr[adj.] rahnā[opt.sg.23.oblig2] . 113But you are saying that you want to live at home and claim liberation and liberation-in-life like King Janak did. 114Therefore, you have to remain pure at home.

108कई फिर कह देते बात तो ठीक है . kaī phir kah dētē bāt tō ṭhīk hai . kaī phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] kahnā[root] dēnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] tō ṭhīk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . some (then|turn[root]) say[root] give[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] matter then OK be[pres.sg.23] . 109बाकी मंजिल ऊंची है . bākī mañjil ūñchī hai . bākī|bākī mañzil[n.f.;sg.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ī;f.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . 115Some say that this is right, but that the destination is too high; they say this and get scared.

111ऊंच तो जाना ही है ना . ūñch tō jānā hī hai nā . ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] tō jānā[inf.m.sg.d.]|jānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nā . elevated then (go[inf.m.sg.d.]|know[past-part.m.sg.d.]) only be[pres.sg.23] ∅ .

116You have to go high.

Dilwala temple in too be[pres.sg.23] that down tapasya do[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , over in that[.kī] reward heaven be[pres.sg.23] .

117It is also shown in the Dilwala Temple how you are doing tapasya down below and how there is the reward of heaven above you.

113तो ऊंच मंजिल तो है ही . tō ūñch mañjil tō hai hī . tō ūñch[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] mañzil[n.f.;sg.] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] . then elevated destination then be[pres.sg.23] only .

118Therefore, the destination is high anyway.

114कहते हैं ना कि चढ़े तो चाखे प्रेम रस . . . यानी बैकुण्ठ रस , गिरे तो चकनाचूर , इसलिए बड़ी सावधानी से चलना पड़ता है . kahtē haĩ nā ki chaṛhē tō chākhē prēm ras . . . yānī baikuṇṭh ras , girē tō chaknāchūr , isliē baṛī sāvadhānī sē chalnā paṛtā hai . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] nā ki[conj.] chaṛhnā[opt.sg.23]|chaṛhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] tō chākhnā[opt.sg.23]|chākhnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] prēm[n.m.;sg.,d.] ras[n.m.;sg.,d.] . . . yānī baikuṇṭh[x] ras[n.m.;sg.,d.] , girnā[opt.sg.23]|girnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] tō chaknāchūr[adj.] , isliē baṛā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] sāvdhānī[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] chalnā[pres.sg.m.23.oblig2] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ∅ that (climb[opt.sg.23]|climb[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) then (taste the sweetness of heaven[opt.sg.23]|taste the sweetness of heaven[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) love sweetness . . . x x sweetness , (fall down[opt.sg.23]|fall down[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) then x , therefore very x from continue[pres.sg.m.23.oblig2] . 115डरना नहीं है . ḍarnā nahī̃ hai . ḍarnā[inf.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . have fear[inf.m.sg.d.] not be[pres.sg.23] .

119It is said: When you climb, you taste the sweetness of love, that is, the sweetness of heaven. 120If you fall, you are completely crushed. 121This is why you have to move along with great caution; you mustn't be scared.

116कहते हैं यह गीता की अथॉरिटी है . kahtē haĩ yah gītā key|kī authority hai . kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] yah[pn.sg.d.] gītā[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] authority hōnā[pres.sg.23] . say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] this Gita (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) authority be[pres.sg.23] .

122They say that this is the authority of the Gita.

117गीतायें तो आजकल बहुत हैं . gītāyē̃ tō ājkal bahut haĩ . gītā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] tō ājkal bahut hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . 123There are many Gitas nowadays: there is the Tagore Gita, the Gandhi Gita, etc. 124When someone sulks with members of his household, he goes extract and a meaning from the Gita and puts his name beside it.

119एक गीता में लिखा है कि बैगन खाने से यह होगा , भिण्डी खाने से यह होगा . . . . . यह बाबा भी रोज़ गीता का पाठ करते थे . ēk gītā mē̃ likhā hai ki baigan khānē sē yah hōgā , bhiṇḍī khānē sē yah hōgā . . . . . yah bābā bhī rōz gītā kā pāṭh kartē thē . ēk[adj.] gītā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] likhnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] ki[conj.] x khānā[inf.m.pl.,o.]|khānā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] sē[postp.] yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] , x khānā[inf.m.pl.,o.]|khānā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] sē[postp.] yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] . . . . . yah[pn.sg.d.] bābā bhī[p.] rōz gītā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pāṭh[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[hab-past.pl.m.] . one Gita in write[pres-perf.sg.m.23] that x (eat[inf.m.pl.,o.]|eat[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]) from this be[fut.m.sg.23] , x (eat[inf.m.pl.,o.]|eat[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]) from this be[fut.m.sg.23] . . . . . this Baba too day Gita of lesson do[hab-past.pl.m.] .

125In one Gita, it is written: This will happen if you eat aubergines. 126This will happen if you eat ladies’ fingers (okra vegetable). 127Baba also used to study the Gita every day.

120जहाँ भी जाते थे , राजाओं के पास भी जाते थे तो गीता का पाठ जरूर करते थे . jahā̃ bhī jātē thē , rājāō̃ kē pās bhī jātē thē tō gītā kā pāṭh jarūr kartē thē . jahā̃ bhī[p.] jānā[hab-past.pl.m.] , rājā[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kē pās[x] bhī[p.] jānā[hab-past.pl.m.] tō gītā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pāṭh[n.m.;sg.,d.] zarūr karnā[hab-past.pl.m.] . where there too go[hab-past.pl.m.] , king to too go[hab-past.pl.m.] then Gita of lesson definitely do[hab-past.pl.m.] .

128Wherever he went, even if he went to a king, he definitely used to study the Gita before going.

. human being understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] x x not be[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

130However, no one cheats as much as devotees do.

131Therefore, Baba says: Children, don't stop studying!

124नहीं तो माया अजगर खा जायेगी फिर पछताना पड़ेगा . nahī̃ tō māyā ajgar khā jāyēgī phir pachhtānā paṛēgā . nahī̃ tō[x] māyā[n.f.;sg.] ajgar[n.m.;sg.,d.] khānā[fut.f.sg.23.root+jānā] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] pachhtānā[fut.m.sg.23.oblig2] . otherwise Maya x eat[fut.f.sg.23.root+jānā] (then|turn[root]) repent[fut.m.sg.23.oblig2] .

132Otherwise, Maya, the alligator, will eat you and you will then have to repent.

125जब धर्मराजपुरी में एक-एक जन्म का साक्षात्कार करते सजायें खाते हैं तो बात मत पूछो . jab dharmarājpurī mē̃ ēk-ēk janm kā sākṣhātkār kartē sajāyē̃ khātē haĩ tō bāt mat pūchhō . jab dharmarājpurī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] ēk[adj.] janamnā[root]|janm[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sākṣhātkār[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] sazā[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] khānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō bāt[n.f.;sg.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] pūchhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . when x in one (be born[root]|life) of vision do[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] punishment eat[pres.pl.m.12hon3] then matter directions ask[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .

133In the land of Dharamraj, when you have visions of each and every birth and experience punishment, don’t even ask what it’s like!

126मुक्ति और जीवनमुक्ति को तो कोई मनुष्य जानते ही नहीं क्योंकि वह समझते हैं कि सुख काग विष्टा समान है . mukti aur jīvanmukti kō tō kōī manuṣhya jāntē hī nahī̃ kyōṅki vah samajhtē haĩ ki sukh kāg viṣhṭā samān hai . mukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] aur jīvanmukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kō[postp.] tō kōī[pn.;d.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] kyōṅki vah[pn.sg.d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] kāg viṣhṭā[x] samān[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . liberation and liberation-in-life to then some human being know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] only not because that understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that happiness x equal be[pres.sg.23] .

134No human being knows about liberation or liberation-in-life because they believe that happiness is like the droppings of a crow.

127तो समझते हैं कि स्वर्ग के सुख भी ऐसे होंगे क्योंकि सुना है कि त्रेतायुग में भी सीता चुराई गई तो वह भी दुःख है . tō samajhtē haĩ ki svarg K|kē sukh bhī aisē hōṅgē kyōṅki sunā hai ki trētāyug mē̃ bhī sītā churāī gaī tō vah bhī duḥkh hai . tō samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] svarg[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hōnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] kyōṅki sunnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] ki[conj.] trētā[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] sītā[n.f.;sg.] churānā[past-part.f..past-part+jānā]|churānā[past-part.f..passive] tō vah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that heaven (K|of) happiness too such be[fut.m.pl.12hon3] because listen[pres-perf.sg.m.23] that silver age in too Sita (abduct[past-part.f..past-part+jānā]|abduct[past-part.f..passive]) then that too (hurt[root]|sorrow) be[pres.sg.23] .

135So, they believe that the happiness of heaven will also be like that because they have heard that Rama’s Sita was abducted in the silver age, and so that too is sorrow.

128अब तुम जानते हो कि स्वर्ग में ऐसी बातें होती नहीं . ab tum jāntē hō ki svarg mē̃ aisī bātē̃ hōtī nahī̃ . ab[adv.] tum jāntē hō[x] ki[conj.] svarg[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] aisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] hōnā[pres-part.f.] nahī̃[neg] . now you know that heaven in such matter be[pres-part.f.] not .

136You now understand that such things don’t take place in heaven.

138All other religions are just “by-plots” in this drama.

131भारतवासियों के ही 84 जन्म हैं और धर्म वाले तो 84 जन्म नहीं लेते . bhāratvāsiyō̃ K|kē hī 84 janm haĩ aur dharm vālē tō 84 janm nahī̃ lētē . bhāratvāsī[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hī[p.] 84 janamnā[root]|janm[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] aur dharm[n.m.;sg.,d.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tō 84 janamnā[root]|janm[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] lēnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . people of Bharat (K|of) only 84 (be born[root]|life) be[pres.pl.12hon3] and religion those who then 84 (be born[root]|life) not take[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

139It is the people of Bharat who take 84 births. 140Those of other religions do not take 84 births.
