58Shri Krishna also became so elevated through the Father. 59This is why his birth is remembered as being worth diamonds.

56पहले कौड़ी तुल्य होगा फिर हीरे तुल्य बाबा ने बनाया . pahlē kauṛī tulya hōgā phir hīrē tulya bābā nē banāyā . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] kauṛī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] tulya[adj.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] hīrā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] tulya[adj.] bābā nē[postp.] banānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] . 60At first, he would have been worth a shell and then Baba made him worth a diamond.

57यह बातें मनुष्य नहीं जानते . yah bātē̃ manuṣhya nahī̃ jāntē . yah[pn.sg.d.] bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . this matter human being not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

61People don’t know these things.

58उनको ऐसा वर्ल्ड का प्रिन्स किसने बनाया  ? unkō aisā world kā prince kisnē banāyā  ? vah[pn.pl.kō] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] world kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] prince[n.m.;sg.,d.] kaun[pn.sg.nē] banānā[past-part.m.sg.d.]  ? that[.kō] such world of prince who[.nē] create[past-part.m.sg.d.]  ?

62Who made him such a world prince?

59तो यह भी समझाना चाहिए - श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी मनाते हैं . tō yah bhī samjhānā chāhiē - śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa janmāṣhṭamī manātē haĩ . tō yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] samjhānā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|samjhānā[.oblig3] - śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] janmāṣhṭamī[x] manānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . then this too (explain[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|explain[.oblig3]) - Shri Krishna x celebrate[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

63So, it has been explained that people celebrate the birthday of Shri Krishna.

60बच्चा तो माता के गर्भ से ही बाहर निकला . bachchā tō mātā K|kē garbh sē hī bāhar nikalā . bachchā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] tō mātā[n.f.;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] garbh[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] hī[p.] bāhar nikalnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] . child then mother (K|of) womb from only outside be extracted[past-part.m.sg.d.] . 61उनको टोकरी में ले गये . unkō ṭōkrī mē̃ lē gayē . vah[pn.pl.kō] ṭōkrī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] mē̃[postp.] lē jānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] . that[.kō] basket in carry .

64The child emerged from his mother’s womb and was then carried away in a basket.

62अब श्रीकृष्ण तो वर्ल्ड प्रिन्स था फिर उनको डर काहे का  ? ab śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa tō world prince thā phir unkō ḍar kāhē kā  ? ab[adv.] śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō world prince[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past.m.sg] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] vah[pn.pl.kō] ḍarnā[root]|ḍar[n.m.;sg.,d.] kāhē kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.]  ? now Shri Krishna then world prince be[past.m.sg] (then|turn[root]) that[.kō] (have fear[root]|x) x of  ?

65Shri Krishna was a world prince, so why would he have had any fear?

63वहाँ कंस आदि कहाँ से आया  ? vahā̃ kaṅs ādi kahā̃ sē āyā  ? vahā̃ kaṅs[x] ādi[adj.] kahā̃ sē[postp.] ānā[past-part.m.sg.d.]  ? there Kans etc. where from come[past-part.m.sg.d.]  ?

66How could Kans, a devil, have existed there?

64यह सब बातें शास्त्रों में लिख दी हैं . yah sab bātē̃ śhāstrō̃ mē̃ likh dī haĩ . yah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] bāt[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] śhāstra[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] mē̃[postp.] likhnā[pres-perf.pl.f.12hon3.root+dēnā] . this all matter scripture in write[pres-perf.pl.f.12hon3.root+dēnā] .

67All of those things have been written in the scriptures.

65अब तुमको अच्छी रीति समझाना चाहिए . ab tumkō achchhī rīti samjhānā chāhiē . ab[adv.] tum[pn.pl.kō] achchhā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] rīti[n.f.;sg.] samjhānā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|samjhānā[.oblig3] . now you[.kō] achcha way (explain[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|explain[.oblig3]) .

68You should now explain all of this very clearly.

66समझाने की युक्तियाँ बहुत अच्छी चाहिए . samjhānē key|kī yuktiyā̃ bahut achchhī chāhiē . samjhānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] yukti[n.f.ī=>iyā̃;pl.d.] bahut achchhā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] chāhiē|chāhnā[imp.pl.2hon] . explain[inf.m.pl.,o.] (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) way very achcha (should|x[imp.pl.2hon]) .

69Very good tactics are needed to explain.

67सब एक जैसा नहीं पढ़ा सकते . sab ēk jaisā nahī̃ paṛhā saktē . sab[adj.] ēk[adj.] jaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] paṛhānā[root]|paṛhnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . all one like not (teach[root]|study[past-part.m.sg.d.]) can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

70Not everyone can teach to the same extent.

68युक्तियुक्त न समझाने से और ही डिससर्विस होती है . yuktiyukt na samjhānē sē aur hī disservice hōtī hai . yuktiyukt[adj.] na[neg] samjhānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] aur hī[p.] disservice hōnā[pres.sg.f.23] . tactful not explain[inf.m.pl.,o.] from and only disservice be[pres.sg.f.23] .

71By your not explaining tactfully, greater disservice is done.

69अब शिव जयन्ती मनाई जाती है तो जरूर शिव की ही महिमा करेंगे . ab śhiv jayantī manāī jātī hai tō jarūr śhiv key|kī hī mahimā karē̃gē . ab[adv.] śhiv jayantī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] manānā[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|manānā[pres.sg.f.23.passive] tō zarūr śhiv key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] hī[p.] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . now Shiva Jayanti (celebrate[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|celebrate[pres.sg.f.23.passive]) then definitely Shiva (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) only praise do[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

72Shiv Jayanti is now being celebrated and so Shiva alone would surely be praised.

70गांधी जयन्ती पर गांधी की ही महिमा करेंगे . gāndhī jayantī par gāndhī key|kī hī mahimā karē̃gē . gāndhī jayantī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] gāndhī key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] hī[p.] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . x Jayanti (at|other) x (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) only praise do[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . 71और कुछ सूझेगा नहीं . aur kuchh sūjhēgā nahī̃ . aur kuchh[x] sūjhnā[fut.m.sg.23] nahī̃[neg] . x x[fut.m.sg.23] not .

73On Gandhi Jayanti, they would sing praise of Gandhi alone; they would not think of anything else.

72अब शिवजयन्ती तुम मनाते हो तो जरूर उनकी महिमा , उनकी बायोग्राफी वा जीवन चरित्र भी होगा . ab śhivjayantī tum manātē hō tō jarūr unkī mahimā , unkī biography vā jīvan charitra bhī hōgā . ab[adv.] śhivjayantī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] tum[pn.pl.] manānā[pres.pl.m.2] tō zarūr vah[pn.pl.kī] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] , vah[pn.pl.kī] biography vā jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] charitra[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[fut.m.sg.23] . now birthday of the Father you celebrate[pres.pl.m.2] then definitely that[.kī] praise , that[.kī] biography or life character too be[fut.m.sg.23] .

74You now celebrate Shiv Jayanti and so there must definitely be His praise, His biography and His life story.

73तुम उस दिन उनका ही जीवन चरित्र बैठ सुनाओ . tum us din unkā hī jīvan charitra baiṭh sunāō . tum[pn.pl.] vah[pn.sg.o.] din[n.m.;sg.,d.] vah[pn.pl.kā] hī[p.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] charitra[n.m.;sg.,d.] baiṭhnā[root] sunānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . you that day that[.kā] only life character sit[root] speak[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .

75On that day, you should just tell people about His life story.

74जैसे बाप कहते हैं मनुष्य कोई पूछते भी नहीं हैं कि शिव जयन्ती कैसे शुरू हुई . jaisē bāp kahtē haĩ manuṣhya kōī pūchhtē bhī nahī̃ haĩ ki śhiv jayantī kaisē śhurū huī . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bāp kahtē haĩ[x] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kōī[pn.;d.] pūchhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] ki[conj.] śhiv jayantī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] śhurū hōnā[past-part.f.] . like the Father says human being some ask[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] too not be[pres.pl.12hon3] that Shiva Jayanti how x .

76The Father says: People don’t even ask when Shiv Jayanti began.

75उसका कुछ भी वर्णन है नहीं . uskā kuchh bhī varṇan hai nahī̃ . vah[pn.sg.kā] kuchh bhī[x] varṇan[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nahī̃[neg] . that[.kā] anything x be[pres.sg.23] not .

77There is no mention of that.

76उनकी महिमा तो अपरम्पार गाई जाती है . unkī mahimā tō aparampār gāī jātī hai . vah[pn.pl.kī] mahimā[n.f.;sg.] tō aparampār[adj.] gānā[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|gānā[pres.sg.f.23.passive] . that[.kī] praise then limitless (sing[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|sing[pres.sg.f.23.passive]) .

78It is sung that His praise is limitless.

77शिवबाबा को भोलानाथ कह बहुत महिमा करते हैं . śhivbābā kō bhōlānāth kah bahut mahimā kartē haĩ . śhivbābā kō[postp.] bhōlānāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[root] bahut mahimā[n.f.;sg.] karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . Shiv Baba to Innocent Lord say[root] very praise do[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

79People call Shiv Baba the Innocent Lord and praise Him a lot.

78वह तो भोला भण्डारी है . vah tō bhōlā bhaṇḍārī hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō bhōlā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhanḍārī[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that then innocent bhandari be[pres.sg.23] .

80He is the Innocent Treasurer.

79वह लोग शिव-शंकर कह देते हैं . vah lōg śhiv-śhaṅkar kah dētē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] log[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhivśhaṅkar[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] . that people x say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] .

81Those people speak of Shiva and Shankar as one and the same.

80शंकर को भोलानाथ समझ लेते हैं . śhaṅkar kō bhōlānāth samajh lētē haĩ . śhaṅkar[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] bhōlānāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+lēnā] . Shankar to Innocent Lord understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+lēnā] .

82They consider Shankar to be the Innocent Lord.

81वास्तव में भोलानाथ शंकर तो नहीं लगता . vāstav mē̃ bhōlānāth śhaṅkar tō nahī̃ lagtā . vāstav mē̃[x] bhōlānāth[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhaṅkar[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō nahī̃[neg] lagnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . x Innocent Lord Shankar then not x[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .

83In fact, Shankar is not the Innocent Lord.

82उनके लिए तो कहते हैं आंख खोली तो विनाश हुआ , धतूरा खाते उनको फिर भोला-नाथ कैसे कह सकते हैं . unkē liē tō kahtē haĩ āṅkh khōlī tō vināśh huā , dhatūrā khātē unkō phir bhōlā-nāth kaisē kah saktē haĩ . vah[pn.pl.kē] liē|lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] tō kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] āṅkh[n.f.;sg.] khōlnā[past-part.f.] tō vināśh hōnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] , dhatūrā[x] khātā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]|khānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] vah[pn.pl.kō] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] x kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+saknā] . that[.kē] (for|take[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) then say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] eye open[past-part.f.] then be destroyed , bitter flowers (account|eat[pres-part.m.pl.,o.]) that[.kō] (then|turn[root]) x how say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+saknā] .

84They say of him that destruction took place when he opened his third eye and that he eats bitter flowers. 85So, how could he be called the Innocent Lord?

118परन्तु दीपावली का वास्तव में अर्थ यह है . parantu dīpāvalī kā vāstav mē̃ arth|earth yah hai . parantu[conj.] dīpāvalī[x] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vāstav mē̃[x] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . however Deepawali of x (meaning|earth) this be[pres.sg.23] .

122However, this is the right meaning of Deepawali.

119कोई-कोई का दीपक तो बिल्कुल जगता नहीं . kōī-kōī kā dīpak tō bilkul jagtā nahī̃ . kōī[pn.;d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dīpak[x] tō bilkul[adv.] jagnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] . some of x then at all wake up[pres-part.m.sg.d.] not .

123The lamps of some do not ignite at all.

120तुम जानते हो हमारा दीपक कैसे जगता है  ? tum jāntē hō hamārā dīpak kaisē jagtā hai  ? tum jāntē hō[x] ham[pn.pl.kā] dīpak[x] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] jagnā[pres.sg.m.23]  ? you know we[.kā] x how wake up[pres.sg.m.23]  ?

124You know how your lights are ignited.

121कोई मरता है तो दीवा जलाते हैं कि अन्धियारा न हो . kōī martā hai tō dīvā jalātē haĩ ki andhiyārā na hō . kōī[pn.;d.] marnā[pres.sg.m.23] tō dīvā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] jalānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] andhiyārā, andhērā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] na[neg] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] . some die[pres.sg.m.23] then lamp burn[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that darkness not (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) .

125When someone dies, people light a lamp so that there is no darkness.

122परन्तु पहले तो आत्मा का दीपक जगे तब अन्धियारा न हो . parantu pahlē tō ātmā kā dīpak jagē tab andhiyārā na hō . parantu[conj.] pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] tō ātmā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dīpak[x] jagnā[opt.sg.23]|jagnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] tab andhiyārā, andhērā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] na[neg] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] . however (x|firstly) then soul of x (wake up[opt.sg.23]|wake up[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) for only then darkness not (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) .

126However, first of all, the lamps of souls have to be ignited; then there would be no darkness.

123नहीं तो मनुष्य घोर अन्धियारे में हैं . nahī̃ tō manuṣhya ghōr andhiyārē mē̃ haĩ . nahī̃ tō[x] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] ghōr[adj.] andhiyārā, andhērā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] mē̃[postp.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . otherwise human being extreme darkness in be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

127Otherwise, people are in extreme darkness.

124आत्मा तो सेकण्ड में एक शरीर छोड़ दूसरा लेती है . ātmā tō second mē̃ ēk śharīr chhōṛ dūsrā lētī hai . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] tō second mē̃[postp.] ēk[adj.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhōṛnā[root] dūsrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] lēnā[pres.sg.f.23] . soul then second in one body renounce[root] other take[pres.sg.f.23] .

128A soul sheds a body and takes another in a second.

125अन्धियारे आदि की इसमें बात ही नहीं . andhiyārē ādi key|kī ismē̃ bāt hī nahī̃ . andhiyārā, andhērā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] ādi[adj.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] yah[pn.sg.mē̃] bāt[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . darkness etc. (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) this[.mē̃] matter only not .

129There is no question of darkness in that.

126यह भक्ति मार्ग की रस्म है . yah bhakti mārg key|kī rasm hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhakti mārg[x] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] rasm[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this path of devotion (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) systems be[pres.sg.23] .

130That is the system of the path of devotion.

127घृत ख़लास होने से दीवा बुझ जाता है . ghr̥it ḵẖalās hōnē sē dīvā bujh jātā hai . ghr̥it[n.m.;sg.,d.] khalās hōnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] dīvā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] bujhnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . x x be[inf.m.pl.,o.] from lamp x[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .

131When all the oil is burnt, the lamp goes out.

128अन्धियारे का भी अर्थ कुछ समझते नहीं हैं . andhiyārē kā bhī arth|earth kuchh samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ . andhiyārā, andhērā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth kuchh samajhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . darkness of too (meaning|earth) anything understand[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

132They don’t understand the meaning of darkness either.

129पित्र आदि खिलाने का भी अर्थ नहीं समझते हैं . pitra ādi khilānē kā bhī arth|earth nahī̃ samajhtē haĩ . pitra[n.m.;sg.,d.] ādi[adj.] khilānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth nahī̃[neg] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . x etc. feed[inf.m.pl.,o.] of too (meaning|earth) not understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

133They don’t even understand the meaning of feeding the departed spirits.

130आगे आत्माओं को बुलाते थे , कुछ पूछते थे . āgē ātmāō̃ kō bulātē thē , kuchh pūchhtē thē . āgē ātmā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] bulānā[hab-past.pl.m.] , kuchh pūchhnā[hab-past.pl.m.] . previously soul to call[hab-past.pl.m.] , anything ask[hab-past.pl.m.] . 131अभी इतना नहीं चलता है . abhī itnā nahī̃ chaltā hai . ab[adv.hī] itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] chalnā[pres.sg.m.23] . now such not continue[pres.sg.m.23] .

134Previously, they used to invoke those departed souls and ask them questions, but they don’t do that any more.

132यहाँ भी आते हैं . yahā̃ bhī ātē haĩ . yahā̃ bhī[p.] ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . here too come[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

135Some come here too.

133कोई-कोई समय कुछ बोल देते हैं . kōī-kōī samay kuchh bōl dētē haĩ . kōī[pn.;d.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] kuchh bōlnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] . some time anything speak[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] .

136Sometimes they would even say something.

134बोलो तुम सुखी हो  ? bōlō tum sukhī hō  ? bōlnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] tum[pn.pl.] sukhī[adj.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2]  ? speak[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] you happy (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2])  ? 135तो कहेंगे हाँ जी . tō kahē̃gē hā̃ jī . tō kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] hā̃ jī[x] . then say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] yes .

137If you ask that soul, “Are you happy?” he would reply: Yes.

136सो तो जरूर यहाँ से जो जायेंगे अच्छे घर में ही जन्म लेंगे . sō tō jarūr yahā̃ sē jō jāyēṅgē achchhē ghar mē̃ hī janma lē̃gē . sō|sōnā[root] tō zarūr yahā̃ sē[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] jānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] janma lēnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . (x|sleep[root]) then definitely here from that go[fut.m.pl.12hon3] achcha home in only x .

138It is certain that those who go from here would definitely take birth in good homes.

137जन्म जरूर अज्ञानी के घर में लेंगे . janm jarūr agyānī K|kē ghar mē̃ lē̃gē . janamnā[root]|janm[n.m.;sg.,d.] zarūr agyānī[adj.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] lēnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . (be born[root]|life) definitely ignorant (K|of) home in take[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

139They would definitely take birth in families who don’t have knowledge.

138ज्ञानी के घर में तो जन्म ले नहीं सकते क्योंकि ज्ञानी ब्राह्मण तो विकार में जा नहीं सकता . gyānī K|kē ghar mē̃ tō janma lē nahī̃ saktē kyōṅki gyānī brāhmaṇ tō vikār mē̃ jā nahī̃ saktā . gyānī[adj.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] tō janma lēnā[opt.sg.23] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] kyōṅki gyānī[adj.] brāhmaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō vikār[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] jānā[root] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . gyani (K|of) home in then x not can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] because gyani Brahmin then vice in go[root] not can[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .

140They cannot take birth in a Brahmin family because gyani Brahmins cannot indulge in vice; they are pure.

139वह तो पवित्र है . vah tō pavitra hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō pavitr[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that then pure be[pres.sg.23] . 140बाकी हाँ , अच्छे सुखी घर में जाकर जन्म लेंगे . bākī hā̃ , achchhē sukhī ghar mē̃ jākar janma lē̃gē . bākī|bākī hā̃ , achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sukhī[adj.] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] jānā[abs.] janma lēnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . (others|but) yes , achcha happy home in go[abs.] x .

141However, that soul would go and take birth in a good, happy family.

141विवेक भी कहता है - जैसी अवस्था , वैसा जन्म . vivēk bhī kahtā hai - jaisī avasthā , vaisā janm . vivēk[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23] - jaisā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] avasthā[n.f.;sg.] , vaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] janamnā[root]|janm[n.m.;sg.,d.] . x too say[pres.sg.m.23] - like stage , x (be born[root]|life) .

142Logic also says that their births would be according to their stage.

142फिर वहाँ अपना जलवा दिखाते हैं . phir vahā̃ apnā jalvā dikhātē haĩ . phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] vahā̃ apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.]|apnānā[root] jalvā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] dikhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . (then|turn[root]) there (one’s own|adopt[root]) sparkle x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 143भल शरीर छोटा है इसलिए बोल न सकें . bhal śharīr chhōṭā hai isliē bōl na sakē̃ . bhal śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhōṭā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] isliē bōlnā[root]|bōl[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] saknā[opt.pl.12hon3] . although body small be[pres.sg.23] therefore (speak[root]|x) not can[opt.pl.12hon3] .

143They would then show their sparkle there, although that soul is in a tiny body and so cannot speak.

144थोड़ा बड़ा होने से ज्ञान का जलवा दिखायेंगे जरूर . thōṛā baṛā hōnē sē gyān kā jalvā dikhāyēṅgē jarūr . thōṛā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] baṛā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] jalvā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] dikhānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] zarūr . short very be[inf.m.pl.,o.] from knowledge of sparkle x[fut.m.pl.12hon3] definitely . 145जैसे कोई-कोई शास्त्रों के संस्कार ले जाते हैं तो छोटे-पन में ही उसमें लग जाते हैं , यहाँ से भी नॉलेज ले जाते हैं तो जरूर महिमा निकलेगी . jaisē kōī-kōī śhāstrō̃ K|kē saṅskār lē jātē haĩ tō chhōṭē-pan mē̃ hī usmē̃ lag jātē haĩ , yahā̃ sē bhī knowledge lē jātē haĩ tō jarūr mahimā nikalēgī . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kōī[pn.;d.] śhāstra[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] saṅskār[x] lē jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō chhōṭēpan[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] hī[p.] vah[pn.sg.mē̃] lagnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] , yahā̃ sē[postp.] bhī[p.] knowledge lē jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tō zarūr mahimā[n.f.;sg.] nikalnā[fut.f.sg.23] . like some scripture (K|of) sanskar carry then become like a child in only that[.mē̃] x[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] , here from too knowledge carry then definitely praise be extracted[fut.f.sg.23] .

144As soon as the child grows a little older he will definitely show the sparkle of knowledge just as some children carry the sanskars of studying the scriptures with them and so they become engaged in that in their childhood. 145When souls take away knowledge from here they will definitely be praised.

146तुम शिव जयन्ती मनाते हो . tum śhiv jayantī manātē hō . tum[pn.pl.] śhiv jayantī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] manānā[pres.pl.m.2] . you Shiva Jayanti celebrate[pres.pl.m.2] .

146You celebrate the birth of Shiva.

147वह लोग कुछ अर्थ नहीं समझ सकते हैं . vah lōg kuchh arth|earth nahī̃ samajh saktē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] log[n.m.;sg.,d.] kuchh arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth nahī̃[neg] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+saknā] . that people anything (meaning|earth) not understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+saknā] .

147Those people cannot understand the meaning of this at all.

148पूछना चाहिए - अगर वह सर्वव्यापी है तो जयन्ती कैसे मनायेंगे  ? pūchhnā chāhiē - agar vah sarvavyāpī hai tō jayantī kaisē manāyēṅgē  ? pūchhnā[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|pūchhnā[.oblig3] - agar vah[pn.sg.d.] sarvavyāpī, sarvavyāpak[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō jayantī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] manānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3]  ? (ask[imp.pl.2hon.inf+cāhnā]|ask[.oblig3]) - if that omnipresent be[pres.sg.23] then Jayanti how celebrate[fut.m.pl.12hon3]  ?

148You should ask them: If He is omnipresent, how can you celebrate His birthday?

149अब तुम बच्चे पढ़ रहे हो . ab tum bachchē paṛh rahē hō . ab[adv.] tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] paṛhnā[pres.pl.m.prog.2] . now you child study[pres.pl.m.prog.2] .

149You children are now studying.

150तुम जानते हो वह बाप भी है , टीचर भी है , सतगुरू भी है . tum jāntē hō vah bāp bhī hai , teacher bhī hai , satgurū bhī hai . tum jāntē hō[x] vah[pn.sg.d.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , teacher bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , satgurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you know that father too be[pres.sg.23] , teacher too be[pres.sg.23] , Satguru too be[pres.sg.23] .

150You know that He is the Father, the Teacher and also the Satguru.

151बाबा ने समझाया है सिक्ख लोग भी कहते हैं सत श्री अकाल है . bābā nē samjhāyā hai sikkh lōg bhī kahtē haĩ sat śhrī akāl hai . bābā nē[postp.] samjhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] sikkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] log[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] sat śhrī akāl[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . 152(The Truth, the Elevated and Immortal One). 153In fact, all souls are also immortal images but, because they shed bodies and take others, you speak of birth and death.

153आत्मा तो वही है . ātmā tō vahī hai . ātmā[n.f.;sg.] tō vahī hōnā[pres.sg.23] . soul then this be[pres.sg.23] .

154The soul is the same.
