10Shiv Baba sits here and explains to you children, that is, He inspires you to make effort to become equal to Him.

12You sweet children know that not all of you will become the same.
9पुरूषार्थ तो हरेक को अपना-अपना करना होता है . purūṣhārth tō harēk kō apnā-apnā karnā hōtā hai . puruṣhārth tō har ēk kō[postp.] apnā[pn.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.]|apnānā[root] karnā[pres.sg.m.23.oblig1] . effort then each one to (one’s own|adopt[root]) do[pres.sg.m.23.oblig1] .
13Each one of you has to make your own individual effort.
10स्कूल में स्टूडेन्ट तो बहुत पढ़ते हैं परन्तु सब एक समान पास विद् ऑनर्स नहीं होते हैं . school mē̃ student tō bahut paṛhtē haĩ parantu sab ēk samān pass with honours nahī̃ hōtē haĩ . school mē̃[postp.] student tō bahut paṛhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] parantu[conj.] sab[adj.] ēk[adj.] samān[adj.] pass with honours[x] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . school in student then very study[pres.pl.m.12hon3] however all one equal pass with honours not be[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
14Many students study at school but they don’t all pass with honours.
11फिर भी टीचर पुरूषार्थ कराते हैं . phir bhī teacher purūṣhārth karātē haĩ . phir bhī[x] teacher puruṣhārth karānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . nevertheless teacher effort make commit[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
15Nevertheless, their teacher inspires them all to make effort.
12तुम बच्चे भी पुरूषार्थ करते हो . tum bachchē bhī purūṣhārth kartē hō . tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] bhī[p.] puruṣhārth karnā[pres.pl.m.2] . you child too effort do[pres.pl.m.2] .
16You children also make effort.

17When the Father asks what you will become, you all reply: We have come here to become Narayan from an ordinary man and Lakshmi from an ordinary woman.
15यह तो ठीक है परन्तु अपनी एक्टिविटीज़ भी देखो ना . yah tō ṭhīk hai parantu apnī activities bhī dēkhō nā . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō ṭhīk[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] parantu[conj.] apnā[pn.ā=>ī;f.] activity bhī[p.] dēkhnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] nā . this then OK be[pres.sg.23] however one’s own activity too see[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] ∅ .
18That is all right, but you have to look at your activity too.
16बाप भी ऊंच ते ऊंच है . bāp bhī ūñch tē ūñch hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] ūñch tē ūñch[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . father too highest-on-high be[pres.sg.23] .
19The Father is the Highest on High.
17टीचर भी है , गुरू भी है . teacher bhī hai , gurū bhī hai . teacher bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , gurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . teacher too be[pres.sg.23] , guru too be[pres.sg.23] .
20He is the Teacher and the Guru.
18इस बाप को कोई जानते नहीं . is bāp kō kōī jāntē nahī̃ . yah[pn.sg.o.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] kōī[pn.;d.] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] . this father to some know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not .
21No one knows this Father.
19तुम बच्चे जानते हो शिवबाबा हमारा बाबा भी है , टीचर भी है , सतगुरू भी है . tum bachchē jāntē hō śhivbābā hamārā bābā bhī hai , teacher bhī hai , satgurū bhī hai . tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] śhivbābā ham[pn.pl.kā] bābā bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , teacher bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , satgurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you child know[pres.pl.m.2] Shiv Baba we[.kā] Baba too be[pres.sg.23] , teacher too be[pres.sg.23] , Satguru too be[pres.sg.23] .
22You children know that Shiv Baba is our Baba, Teacher and Satguru.
20परन्तु वह जैसा है वैसा उनको जानना भी मुश्किल है . parantu vah jaisā hai vaisā unkō jānnā bhī muśhkil hai . parantu[conj.] vah[pn.sg.d.] jaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] vaisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vah[pn.pl.kō] jānnā[inf.m.sg.d.] bhī[p.] muśhkil[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . however that like be[pres.sg.23] x that[.kō] know[inf.m.sg.d.] too difficult be[pres.sg.23] .

24You might come to know the Father but you forget His role as the Teacher and the Guru.

25You children also have to have regard for the Father.
23रिगार्ड किसको कहा जाता है ? regard kiskō kahā jātā hai ? regard kaun[pn.sg.kō] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] ? regard who[.kō] (say[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|say[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) ?

27To have regard means to study well that which the Father teaches.
25बाप तो बहुत मीठा है . bāp tō bahut mīṭhā hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō bahut mīṭhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . father then very sweet be[pres.sg.23] .
28The Father is very sweet.

31Each of you has to ask yourself: Do I have such happiness?
29एक समान सब तो रह नहीं सकते . ēk samān sab tō rah nahī̃ saktē . ēk[adj.] samān[adj.] sab[adj.] tō rahnā[root] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . one equal all then remain[root] not can[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .
32Not everyone can be the same.
30पढ़ाई में भी वास्ट डिफरेन्ट है . paṛhāī mē̃ bhī vast different hai . paṛhāī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.]|paṛhānā[past-part.f.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] vast different[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (study|teach[past-part.f.]) in too vast difference be[pres.sg.23] .
33There is also a vast difference in how everyone studies.
31उन स्कूलों में भी कितना फ़र्क रहता है . un skūlō̃ mē̃ bhī kitnā fark rahtā hai . vah[pn.pl.o.] school[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] fark[n.m.;sg.,d.] rahnā[pres.sg.m.23] . that school in too so difference remain[pres.sg.m.23] .
34In those schools, too, there is a lot of difference.
32वह तो कॉमन टीचर पढ़ाते हैं , यह तो है अनकॉमन . vah tō common teacher paṛhātē haĩ , yah tō hai uncommon . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō common teacher paṛhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , yah[pn.sg.d.] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] uncommon . that then x teacher teach[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , this then be[pres.sg.23] uncommon .
35There, it is a common teacher who teaches, whereas this One here is uncommon.
33ऐसा टीचर कोई होता ही नहीं . aisā teacher kōī hōtā hī nahī̃ . aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] teacher kōī[pn.;d.] hōnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . such teacher some be[pres-part.m.sg.d.] only not .
36There cannot be another teacher like this One.
34किसको यह पता ही नहीं है कि निराकार फादर टीचर भी बनते हैं . kiskō yah patā hī nahī̃ hai ki nirākār father teacher bhī bantē haĩ . kaun[pn.sg.kō] yah[pn.sg.d.] patā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] ki[conj.] nirākār[adj.] father teacher bhī[p.] bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . who[.kō] this knowledge only not be[pres.sg.23] that incorporeal father teacher too become[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
37No one knows that the incorporeal Father also becomes the Teacher.
35भल श्रीकृष्ण का नाम दिया है परन्तु उनको पता ही नहीं कि वह फादर कैसे हो सकता . bhal śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa kā nām diyā hai parantu unkō patā hī nahī̃ ki vah father kaisē hō saktā . bhal śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] parantu[conj.] vah[pn.pl.kō] patā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] ki[conj.] vah[pn.sg.d.] father kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] saknā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] . although Shri Krishna of name give[pres-perf.sg.m.23] however that[.kō] knowledge only not that that father how (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) can[pres-part.m.sg.d.] .
38Although they have used the name “Shri Krishna”, they don’t even know that he can’t be the Father.
36श्रीकृष्ण तो देवता है ना . śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa tō dēvtā hai nā . śhrīkr̥iṣhṇa[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō dēvtā[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] nā . Shri Krishna then deity be[pres.sg.23] ∅ .

42He is a bodily being.
40तुम जानते हो यह शरीर उनका नहीं है . tum jāntē hō yah śharīr unkā nahī̃ hai . tum jāntē hō[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] vah[pn.pl.kā] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . you know this body that[.kā] not be[pres.sg.23] .
43You know that this body does not belong to that One.
41खुद कहते हैं - मैंने लोन लिया है . khud kahtē haĩ - mainnē loan liyā hai . khud kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - maĩ[pn.sg.nē] loan lēnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23] . oneself say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - I[.nē] loan take[pres-perf.sg.m.23] .
44He Himself says: I have taken it on loan.
42यह पहले भी मनुष्य था , अब भी मनुष्य है . yah pahlē bhī manuṣhya thā , ab bhī manuṣhya hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] bhī[p.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[past.m.sg] , ab[adv.] bhī[p.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this (x|firstly) too human being be[past.m.sg] , now too human being be[pres.sg.23] . 43यह भगवान नहीं है . yah bhagvān nahī̃ hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this God not be[pres.sg.23] .
45This one was a human being before and he is still a human being now; he is not God.
44वह तो एक ही निराकार है . vah tō ēk hī nirākār hai . vah[pn.sg.d.] tō ēk[adj.] hī[p.] nirākār[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that then one only incorporeal be[pres.sg.23] .
46Only the incorporeal One is God.

46परन्तु फिर भी फाइनल ही बाप समझना , टीचर समझना यह अभी हो नहीं सकता , घड़ी-घड़ी भूल जायेंगे . parantu phir bhī final hī bāp samajhnā , teacher samajhnā yah abhī hō nahī̃ saktā , ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jāyēṅgē . parantu[conj.] phir bhī[x] final hī[p.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samajhnā[inf.m.sg.d.] , teacher samajhnā[inf.m.sg.d.] yah[pn.sg.d.] ab[adv.hī] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] nahī̃[neg] saknā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] , ghaṛī-ghaṛī bhūl jānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . however nevertheless final only father understand[inf.m.sg.d.] , teacher understand[inf.m.sg.d.] this now (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) not can[pres-part.m.sg.d.] , again and again x[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
48However, it is not yet possible for you to understand finally (fully) the Father and the Teacher; you repeatedly forget.
47देहधारी तरफ बुद्धि चली जाती है . dēhdhārī taraph buddhi chalī jātī hai . dēhdhārī[adj.] taraph[n.m.;sg.,d.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] chalnā[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|chalnā[pres.sg.f.23.passive] . bodily being direction intellect (continue[pres.sg.f.23.past-part+jānā]|continue[pres.sg.f.23.passive]) .
49Your intellects are drawn to bodily beings.
