86Those who understand clearly are real children, whereas those who understand nothing at all are stepchildren.

84अब सौतेले वारिस थोड़ेही बनेंगे . ab sautēlē vāris thōṛēhī banē̃gē . ab[adv.] sautēlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] vāris[n.m.;sg.,d.] thōṛēhī bannā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . now stepchild heir not become[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

87Stepchildren never become heirs.

85बाबा के पास मातेले भी हैं तो सौतेले भी हैं . bābā kē pās mātēlē bhī haĩ tō sautēlē bhī haĩ . bābā kē pās[x] mātēlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] tō sautēlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . Baba to real child too be[pres.pl.12hon3] then stepchild too be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

88Baba has real children and stepchildren.

86मातेले बच्चे तो बाप की श्रीमत पर पूरा चलते हैं . mātēlē bachchē tō bāp key|kī śhrīmat par pūrā chaltē haĩ . mātēlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] tō bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] pūrā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . real child child then father (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) shrimat (at|other) full continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 87सौतेले नहीं चलेंगे . sautēlē nahī̃ chalē̃gē . sautēlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nahī̃[neg] chalnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . stepchild not continue[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .

89Real children are those who follow the Father's shrimat completely, whereas stepchildren do not.

88बाप कह देते हैं यह मेरी मत पर नहीं चलते हैं , रावण की मत पर हैं . bāp kah dētē haĩ yah mērī mat par nahī̃ chaltē haĩ , rāvaṇ key|kī mat par haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] yah[pn.sg.d.] maĩ[pn.sg.kī] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] nahī̃[neg] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . father say[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] this I[.kī] directions (at|other) not continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , Ravan (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) directions (at|other) be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

90The Father then says: This one is not following My directions; he is following Ravan's directions.

89राम और रावण दो अक्षर हैं . rām aur rāvaṇ dō akṣhar haĩ . rām[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|dō[adj.] akṣhar[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . Rama and Ravan (give[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2]|two) word be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

91There are the two words: Rama and Ravan.

90राम राज्य और रावण राज्य . rām rājya aur rāvaṇ rājya . rām rājya[x] aur rāvaṇ rājya[x] . kingdom of Rama and kingdom of Ravan .

92There is the kingdom of Rama, whereas this is the kingdom of Ravan.

91अभी है संगम . abhī hai saṅgam . ab[adv.hī] hōnā[pres.sg.23] saṅgam[n.m.;sg.,d.] . now be[pres.sg.23] confluence .

93It is now the confluence of the two.

92बाप समझाते हैं - यह सब ब्रह्माकुमार-ब्रह्माकुमारियाँ शिवबाबा से वर्सा ले रहे हैं , तुम लेंगे  ? bāp samjhātē haĩ - yah sab brahmākumār-brahmākumāriyā̃ śhivbābā sē varsā lē rahē haĩ , tum lē̃gē  ? bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samjhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - yah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] brahmākumār kumārī[n.f.ī=>iyā̃;pl.d.] śhivbābā sē[postp.] varsā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] lēnā[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , tum[pn.pl.] lēnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3]  ? father explain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - this all x Shiv Baba from inheritance take[pres.pl.m.prog.12hon3] , you take[fut.m.pl.12hon3]  ?

94The Father explains to them. 95All of these Brahma Kumars and Kumaris are claiming their inheritance from Shiv Baba. 96Do you too want to claim it?

93श्रीमत पर चलेंगे  ? śhrīmat par chalē̃gē  ? śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] chalnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3]  ? shrimat (at|other) continue[fut.m.pl.12hon3]  ?

97Will you follow these elevated directions?

94तो कहते हैं कौन-सी मत  ? tō kahtē haĩ kaun-sī mat  ? tō kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] kaun sā[adj.ā=>ī;f.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.]  ? then say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] which directions  ?

98They ask: “Whose directions?”

95बाप श्रीमत देते हैं कि पवित्र बनो . bāp śhrīmat dētē haĩ ki pavitra banō . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] pavitr[adj.] bannā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] . father shrimat give[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that pure become[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] .

99The Father gives you shrimat for you to become pure.

96कहते हैं हम पवित्र रहें फिर पति न माने तो मैं किसकी मानूँ  ? kahtē haĩ ham pavitra rahē̃ phir pati na mānē tō maĩ kiskī mānū̃  ? kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ham[pn.pl.] pavitr[adj.] rahnā[opt.pl.12hon3] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] pati[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] mānnā[opt.sg.23]|mānnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] tō maĩ[pn.sg.d.] kaun[pn.sg.kī] mānnā[opt.sg.1]  ? say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] we pure remain[opt.pl.12hon3] (then|turn[root]) husband not (x[opt.sg.23]|x[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) then I who[.kī] x[opt.sg.1]  ?

100They then say: “I will stay pure, but if my husband doesn’t accept this, to whom should I listen?

, īśhvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] ādi[adj.] sab kuchh[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . that then we[.kā] husband god be[pres.sg.23] because Bharat in this (teach[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|teach[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) that husband you[.kā] guru , God etc. everything be[pres.sg.23] .

101My husband is my god.” 102In Bharat they are told that their husband is their guru, their god, their everything.

98परन्तु ऐसा कोई समझते नहीं हैं . parantu aisā kōī samajhtē nahī̃ haĩ . parantu[conj.] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kōī[pn.;d.] samajhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . however such some understand[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

103However, no one really believes it.

99उस समय हाँ कर देते हैं , मानते कुछ भी नहीं हैं . us samay hā̃ kar dētē haĩ , māntē kuchh bhī nahī̃ haĩ . vah[pn.sg.o.] samay[n.m.;sg.,d.] hā̃ karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] , mānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] kuchh bhī[x] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . that time yes do[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] , x[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] anything not be[pres.pl.12hon3] .

104They simply say “Yes” at that time but they don’t accept it at all.

100फिर भी गुरूओं के पास मन्दिरों में जाते रहते हैं . phir bhī gurūō̃ kē pās mandirō̃ mē̃ jātē rahtē haĩ . phir bhī[x] gurū[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kē pās[x] mandir[x] mē̃[postp.] jānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] . nevertheless guru to temple in go[pres.pl.m.12hon3.pres-part+rahnā] .

105They still continue to go to their gurus and to the temples.

101पति कहते हैं तुम बाहर मत जाओ , हम राम की मूर्ति तुमको घर में रखकर देते हैं फिर तुम अयोध्या आदि में क्यों भटकती हो  ? pati kahtē haĩ tum bāhar mat jāō , ham rām key|kī mūrti tumkō ghar mē̃ rakhkar dētē haĩ phir tum ayōdhyā ādi mē̃ kyō̃ bhaṭaktī hō  ? pati[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] tum[pn.pl.] bāhar mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] jānā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , ham[pn.pl.] rām[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] mūrti, mūrt[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] tum[pn.pl.kō] ghar[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] rakhnā[abs.] dēnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] tum[pn.pl.] ayōdhyā[n.f.;sg.] ādi[adj.] mē̃[postp.] kyō̃ bhaṭaknā[pres.pl.f.2]  ? husband say[pres.pl.m.12hon3] you outside directions go[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] , we Rama (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) image you[.kō] home in keep[abs.] give[pres.pl.m.12hon3] (then|turn[root]) you Ayodhya etc. in why wander around[pres.pl.f.2]  ?

106The husband says: “Don’t go out! 107I will give you an image of Rama and you can keep that and worship it at home. 108Why do you wander to Ayodhya (Rama's birthplace)?”

102तो मानती नहीं . tō māntī nahī̃ . tō mānnā[pres-part.f.] nahī̃[neg] . then x[pres-part.f.] not . 103यह हैं भक्ति मार्ग के धक्के . yah haĩ bhakti mārg K|kē dhakkē . yah[pn.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] bhakti mārg[x] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] dhakkā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] . this be[pres.pl.12hon3] path of devotion (K|of) x .

109She wouldn’t listen to anything; it is the stumbling of the path of devotion.

104वह जरूर खायेंगे , कभी मानेंगे नहीं . vah jarūr khāyēṅgē , kabhī mānē̃gē nahī̃ . vah[pn.sg.d.] zarūr khānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] , kabhī[adv.] mānnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] nahī̃[neg] . that definitely eat[fut.m.pl.12hon3] , ever x[fut.m.pl.12hon3] not . 105समझते हैं वह तो उनका मन्दिर है . samajhtē haĩ vah tō unkā mandir hai . samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] vah[pn.sg.d.] tō vah[pn.pl.kā] mandir[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that then that[.kā] temple be[pres.sg.23] .

110She will definitely continue to stumble along there; she won’t listen to anyone, because she believes that the temple there is Rama’s.

? Oh! you[.kō] remembrance Rama to do[pres.sg.23.oblig1] that temple to  ?

111However, who is it that you have to remember? 112Is it Rama or his temple?

107परन्तु समझते नहीं . parantu samajhtē nahī̃ . parantu[conj.] samajhnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] nahī̃[neg] . however understand[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] not .

113They don't understand anything.

108तो बाप समझाते हैं भक्ति मार्ग में कहते भी हो हे भगवान आकर हमारी सद्गति करो क्योंकि वह एक ही सर्व का सद्गति दाता है . tō bāp samjhātē haĩ bhakti mārg mē̃ kahtē bhī hō hē bhagvān ākar hamārī sadgati karō kyōṅki vah ēk hī sarv kā sadgati dātā hai . tō bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samjhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] bhakti mārg[x] mē̃[postp.] kahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] bhī[p.] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] hē bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[abs.] ham[pn.pl.kī] sadgati[n.f.;sg.] karnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] kyōṅki vah[pn.sg.d.] ēk[adj.] hī[p.] sarv[adj.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sadgati dātā[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . then father explain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] path of devotion in say[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] too (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) x God come[abs.] we[.kī] salvation do[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2] because that one only all of Bestower of Salvation be[pres.sg.23] .

114Therefore, the Father explains: On the path of devotion you call out to God, “Come and grant us salvation!”, because only He is the Bestower of Salvation for all.

109अच्छा वह कब आते हैं - यह भी कोई नहीं जानते . achchhā vah kab ātē haĩ - yah bhī kōī nahī̃ jāntē . achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] vah[pn.sg.d.] kab ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - yah[pn.sg.d.] bhī[p.] kōī[pn.;d.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . achcha that when come[pres.pl.m.12hon3] - this too some not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

115Achcha, when does He come? 116No one knows this.

110बाप समझाते हैं रावण ही तुम्हारा दुश्मन है . bāp samjhātē haĩ rāvaṇ hī tumhārā duśhman hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samjhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] tum[pn.pl.kā] duśhman[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . father explain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] Ravan only you[.kā] enemy be[pres.sg.23] .

117The Father explains that Ravan is your enemy.

111रावण का तो वन्डर है , जो जलाते ही आते हैं लेकिन मरता ही नहीं है . rāvaṇ kā tō wonder hai , jō jalātē hī ātē haĩ lēkin martā hī nahī̃ hai . rāvaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] tō wonder hōnā[pres.sg.23] , jō[pn.;d.] jalānā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] hī[p.] ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] lēkin marnā[pres-part.m.sg.d.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . Ravan of then wonder be[pres.sg.23] , that burn[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] only come[pres.pl.m.12hon3] but die[pres-part.m.sg.d.] only not be[pres.sg.23] .

118The wonder of Ravan is that, although people continue to burn effigies of him, he never dies.

. Ravan what thing be[pres.sg.23] , this anyone not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

119No one knows what Ravan is.

113अभी तुम बच्चे जानते हो हमको बेहद के बाप से वर्सा मिलता है . abhī tum bachchē jāntē hō hamkō bēhad K|kē bāp sē varsā miltā hai . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] jānnā[pres.pl.m.2] ham[pn.pl.kō] bēhad[adj.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] varsā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] . now you child know[pres.pl.m.2] we[.kō] unlimited (K|of) father from inheritance receive[pres.sg.m.23] .

120You children now know that you receive your inheritance from the unlimited Father.

220एकान्तवासी का डबल अर्थ है . ēkāntvāsī kā double arth|earth hai . ēkāntvāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] double arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth hōnā[pres.sg.23] . one who is in solitude of double (meaning|earth) be[pres.sg.23] .

221Being in solitude has two meanings.

221सिर्फ बाहर की एकान्त नहीं लेकिन एक के अन्त में खो जाना , एकान्त . sirph bāhar key|kī ēkānt nahī̃ lēkin ēk K|kē ant mē̃ khō jānā , ēkānt . sirph[adj.] bāhar key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] ēkānt[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] lēkin ēk[adj.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ant[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] khōnā[root] jānā[inf.m.sg.d.]|jānnā[past-part.m.sg.d.] , ēkānt[n.m.;sg.,d.] . only outside (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) solitude not but one (K|of) end in lose[root] (go[inf.m.sg.d.]|know[past-part.m.sg.d.]) , solitude .

222It isn’t just external solitude, but solitude is also to be lost in the depths of the One.

222नहीं तो सिर्फ बाहर की एकान्त होगी तो बोर हो जायेंगे , कहेंगे - पता नहीं दिन कैसे बीतेगा  ! nahī̃ tō sirph bāhar key|kī ēkānt hōgī tō bōr hō jāyēṅgē , kahē̃gē - patā nahī̃ din kaisē bītēgā  ! nahī̃ tō[x] sirph[adj.] bāhar key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] ēkānt[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[fut.f.sg.23] tō bore|bōrnā[root] hōnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] , kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] - patā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] nahī̃[neg] din[n.m.;sg.,d.] kaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bītnā[fut.m.sg.23]  ! otherwise only outside (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) solitude be[fut.f.sg.23] then (bore|drown[root]) be[fut.m.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] , say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] - knowledge not day how pass[fut.m.sg.23]  !

223If there is just external solitude, you will get bored and then say, “I don’t know how I am going to spend this day.”

223लेकिन एक बाप के अन्त में खो जाओ . lēkin ēk bāp K|kē ant mē̃ khō jāō . lēkin ēk[adj.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ant[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] khōnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+jānā] . but one father (K|of) end in lose[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+jānā] .

224Just go into the depths of the one Father.

224जैसे सागर के तले में चले जाते हैं तो कितना खजाना मिलता है . jaisē sāgar K|kē talē mē̃ chalē jātē haĩ tō kitnā khajānā miltā hai . jaisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sāgar[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] talā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]|talnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|talnā[opt.sg.23] mē̃[postp.] chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|chalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive] tō kitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] khajānā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] milnā[pres.sg.m.23] . like ocean (K|of) (bottom|fry[past-part.m.pl.,o.]|fry[opt.sg.23]) in (continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.past-part+jānā]|continue[pres.pl.m.12hon3.passive]) then so treasure receive[pres.sg.m.23] . 225ऐसे एक के अन्त में चले जाओ अर्थात् बाप से जो प्राप्तियाँ हुई हैं उसमें खो जाओ . aisē ēk K|kē ant mē̃ chalē jāō arthāt bāp sē jō prāptiyā̃ huī haĩ usmē̃ khō jāō . aisā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ēk[adj.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] ant[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] chalnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.past-part+jānā]|chalnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.passive] arthāt bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] sē[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] prāpti[n.f.ī=>iyā̃;pl.d.] hōnā[pres-perf.pl.f.12hon3] vah[pn.sg.mē̃] khōnā[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+jānā] . such one (K|of) end in (continue[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.past-part+jānā]|continue[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.passive]) that is father from that attainment be[pres-perf.pl.f.12hon3] that[.mē̃] lose[opt.pl.2,imp.pl.2.root+jānā] .

225Just as when you go to the bottom of the ocean, you receive so many treasures, similarly, go into the depths of the One, that is, become lost in the attainments you have received from the Father.
