38On the basis of following shrimat, you experience happiness for half of each cycle. 39Then, by following Ravan's dictates for the other half of the cycle, you experience sorrow.

32इस रावण राज्य में तुम भक्ति जो करते हो , नीचे ही उतरते आये हो . is rāvaṇ rājya mē̃ tum bhakti jō kartē hō , nīchē hī utartē āyē hō . yah[pn.sg.o.] rāvaṇ rājya[x] mē̃[postp.] tum[pn.pl.] bhakti[n.f.;sg.] jō[pn.;d.] karnā[pres.pl.m.2] , nīchē hī[p.] utarnā[pres-perf.pl.m.2.pres-part+ānā] . this kingdom of Ravan in you devotion that do[pres.pl.m.2] , down only go down[pres-perf.pl.m.2.pres-part+ānā] .

184Amongst you, the ones with the worst fortune are those who become impure and make their intellects degraded. 185This is because they're unable to imbibe this knowledge.

196Only the emperors and empresses are called conquerors of the world; the subjects are not called that.

199To the extent that you become pure and make others pure, you accordingly receive the fruit of that, just as those who donate a lot also receive the fruit of that.

177दान करने वाले का नाम भी होता है . dān karnē vālē kā nām bhī hōtā hai . dān[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23] . donation do[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who of name too be[pres.sg.m.23] . 178दूसरे जन्म में अल्पकाल का सुख पाते हैं . dūsrē janm mē̃ alpkāl kā sukh pātē haĩ . dūsrā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] janm[n.m.;sg.,d.]|janamnā[root] mē̃[postp.] alpkāl[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sukh[n.m.;sg.,d.] pānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . other (life|be born[root]) in temporary period of happiness x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .

214Many used to have a lot of visions, but people caused so much upheaval because they thought that you were casting spells on them, so the visions were stopped. 215At the end, you will again continue to have many visions.
