119When householders become sannyasis, they die alive. 120They leave the household ashram and go onto the path of isolation.
115तो तुम्हारा भी मरजीवा बनने से नाम बदल जाता है . tō tumhārā bhī marjīvā bannē sē nām badal jātā hai . tō tum[pn.pl.kā] bhī[p.] marjīvā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bannā[inf.m.pl.,o.] sē[postp.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] badalnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . then you[.kā] too dying alive become[inf.m.pl.,o.] from name change[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] .
121When you die alive, your name also changes.
116पहले शुरू में सबके नाम लाये थे फिर जो आश्चर्यवत सुनन्ती , कथन्ती , भागन्ती हो गये तो नाम आना बन्द हो गया इसलिए अब बाप कहते हैं कि हम नाम दें और फिर भाग जायें तो फालतू हो जाता है . pahlē śhurū mē̃ sabkē nām lāyē thē phir jō āśhcharyavat sunantī , kathantī , bhāgantī hō gayē tō nām ānā band hō gayā isliē ab bāp kahtē haĩ ki ham nām dē̃ aur phir bhāg jāyē̃ tō phāltū hō jātā hai . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] śhurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] sabkā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] lānā[past-perf.pl.m.] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] jō[pn.;d.] āśhcharyavat[adj.] sunnā , kathā , bhāgnā hōnā[past-part.m.pl.,o..root+jānā] tō nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] ānā[inf.m.sg.d.]|ānā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] band[adj.] hōnā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] isliē ab[adv.] bāp kahtē haĩ[x] ki[conj.] ham[pn.pl.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] dēnā[opt.pl.12hon3] aur phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] bhāgnā[opt.pl.12hon3.root+jānā] tō phāltū[adj.] hōnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] . 122In the beginning, names were given to everyone. 123Some of them, who were amazed while listening to this knowledge and who related it to others, then left and went away. 124The giving of names stopped. 125This is why the Father says: If I give them names and they then run away, that is useless.
117पहले आने वालों के जो नाम रखे , वह बहुत रमणीक थे . pahlē ānē vālō̃ K|kē jō nām rakhē , vah bahut ramaṇīk thē . pahlā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.]|pahlē[adv.] ānā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.]|ānā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] jō[pn.;d.] nām rakhnā[opt.sg.23] , vah[pn.sg.d.] bahut ramaṇīk[adj.] hōnā[past.pl] . 128Names would be given to those who have remained here permanently.
120बहुतों के नाम रखे फिर बाप को फारकती दे चले गये इसलिए अब नाम नहीं बदलते हैं . bahutō̃ K|kē nām rakhē phir bāp kō phārkatī dē chalē gayē isliē ab nām nahī̃ badaltē haĩ . bahut[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] nām rakhnā[opt.sg.23] phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] fārkatī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] dēnā[opt.sg.23.root+calnā] jānā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] isliē ab[adv.] nām[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] badalnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . very (K|of) x (then|turn[root]) father to separation give[opt.sg.23.root+calnā] go[past-part.m.pl.,o.] therefore now name not change[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
129Many were given names, but they then divorced the Father and left. 130This is why names are no longer changed.
121बाप समझाते हैं कि यह ज्ञान क्रिश्चियन की बुद्धि में भी बैठेगा . bāp samjhātē haĩ ki yah gyān kriściyan key|kī buddhi mē̃ bhī baiṭhēgā . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] samjhānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] ki[conj.] yah[pn.sg.d.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] Christian key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] buddhi[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] bhī[p.] baiṭhnā[fut.m.sg.23] . father explain[pres.pl.m.12hon3] that this knowledge Christian (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) intellect in too sit[fut.m.sg.23] .

146They think: There are so many Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, there must definitely be Prajapita Brahma and very many have become his children. 147There must definitely be something there, and so let’s go and ask them, “What do you receive from Prajapita Brahma?”
