169However, some of you say that you have to live at home with your family and attend weddings, etc. 170Therefore, you may wear jewellery, etc.

172Otherwise, they would say that you are widows who don't wear jewellery and the name would be defamed. 173This is why Baba says: Don't give Baba a bad name!

174You may wear anything, but consider yourselves to be souls and remember the Father.

178You have to fulfil your responsibility to them, but if you allow your hands to do the work while your heart stays in remembrance of the Beloved, it will be understood that you are strong.

179You may wear jewellery, etc. and go to weddings and also live together, but become mahavirs (brave warriors).

180The sannyasis were portrayed being tested by their gurus who sent a prostitute and a snake to tempt them.

181Those who pass with courage are called mahavirs.

182If you stay in remembrance of the Father, none of your physical senses will cause mischief.

183When you forget the Father, your physical senses cause mischief.

183विश्व के तुम मालिक बनते हो , यह कम बात है क्या  ! viśhva K|kē tum mālik bantē hō , yah cum|kam bāt hai kyā  ! viśhva[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] tum[pn.pl.] mālik[n.m.;sg.,d.] bannā[pres.pl.m.2] , yah[pn.sg.d.] cum|kam[adj.] bāt[n.f.;sg.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] kyā  ! world (K|of) you master become[pres.pl.m.2] , this (x|less) matter be[pres.sg.23] what  !

184You are becoming the masters of the world. 185Is this a small thing?

184संन्यासी इन बातों को बिल्कुल नहीं जानते . sannyāsī in bātō̃ kō bilkul nahī̃ jāntē . sannyāsī[n.m.;sg.,d.] in|yah[pn.pl.o.] bāt[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] bilkul[adv.] nahī̃[neg] jānnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] . sannyasi (in|this) matter to at all not know[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] .

186Sannyasis don't understand these things at all.

190You children are given these teachings over and over again: Remember the one Father and learn divine manners.

190कोई भी विकर्म न हो . kōī bhī vikarma na hō . kōī bhī[x] vikarm[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] . anyone sin not (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) .

191Don't perform sinful actions.

191यह तो असुरों का काम है . yah tō asurō̃ kā kām hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] tō asur[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] kām[n.m.;sg.,d.]|kām[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this then devil of (task|lust) be[pres.sg.23] .

192That is the work of devils.

192तुम अभी देवता बनते हो तो दैवीगुण धारण करने हैं . tum abhī dēvtā bantē hō tō daivīguṇ dhāraṇ karnē haĩ . tum[pn.pl.] ab[adv.hī] dēvtā bannā[pres.pl.m.2] tō daivī guṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] dhāraṇ karnā[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] . you now become deity then divine virtue adopt[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] .

193You are now becoming deities. 194Therefore, imbibe divine virtues.

195The biggest thorn is lust.

194आदत पड़ी हुई है तो घड़ी-घड़ी गिर पड़ते हैं , माया चमाट मार फाँ कर देती है . ādat paṛī huī hai tō ghaṛī-ghaṛī gir paṛtē haĩ , māyā chamāṭ mār phā̃ kar dētī hai . ādat[n.f.;sg.] paṛnā[past-part.f.] hōnā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] tō ghaṛī-ghaṛī girnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] , māyā[n.f.;sg.] chamāṭ[n.f.;sg.] mārnā[root] x karnā[pres.sg.f.23.root+dēnā] . habit fall[past-part.f.] be[pres-perf.sg.f.23] then again and again fall down[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+paṛnā] , Maya slap beat[root] x do[pres.sg.f.23.root+dēnā] .

196Because that habit has been instilled in you, you fall again and again. 197Maya slaps you and makes you fall.

195तब गाया जाता है - आश्चर्यवत सुनन्ती , कथन्ती . . . अभी तुम एक बाप के बने हो . tab gāyā jātā hai - āśhcharyavat sunantī , kathantī . . . abhī tum ēk bāp K|kē banē hō . tab gānā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|gānā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] - āśhcharyavat[adj.] sunnā , kathā . . . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] ēk[adj.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] bannā[pres-perf.pl.m.2] . for only then (sing[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|sing[pres.sg.m.23.passive]) - amazed listen , story . . . now you one father (K|of) become[pres-perf.pl.m.2] .

201Therefore, you are trustees.

198यह सब उनका है , हमको उनकी श्रीमत पर चलना है . yah sab unkā hai , hamkō unkī śhrīmat par chalnā hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] vah[pn.pl.kā] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , ham[pn.pl.kō] vah[pn.pl.kī] śhrīmat par chalnā[x] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . this all that[.kā] be[pres.sg.23] , we[.kō] that[.kī] x be[pres.sg.23] .

202All of this is His. 203We have to follow His shrimat.

204The Father sees how you surrender everything to Him and how you follow His directions, that you don't spend money on wrong things or give it to sinful souls.

201शुरू में इस ( ब्रह्मा ) ने भी ट्रस्टी हो दिखलाया ना . śhurū mē̃ is ( brahmā ) nē bhī trustee hō dikhlāyā nā . śhurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] yah[pn.sg.o.] ( brahmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] ) nē[postp.] bhī[p.] trustee hōnā[root]|hōnā[pres.pl.2] dikhlānā[past-part.m.sg.d.] nā . beginning in this ( Brahma ) ∅ too trustee (be[root]|be[pres.pl.2]) show[past-part.m.sg.d.] ∅ .

205In the beginning, this Brahma demonstrated this by becoming a trustee.

202सब कुछ ईश्वर अर्पण कर खुद ट्रस्टी बन गया . sab kuchh īśhvar arpaṇ kar khud trustee ban gayā . sab kuchh[x] īśhvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] arpaṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[root] khud trustee bannā[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] . everything God surrender do[root] oneself trustee become[past-part.m.sg.d..root+jānā] .
