220You have to climb the ladder by learning the Vedas and scriptures etc. and you then have to come down just as much, that is, you have to forget all of those things and connect your intellect in yoga with the one God because God clearly says: You cannot attain Me by doing any of those rituals or by reading the Vedas and scriptures, etc.
200जब तक यह ज्ञान नहीं है तो भक्ति मार्ग चलता है परन्तु ज्ञान का दीपक जग जाता है तो कर्मकाण्ड छूट जाते हैं क्योंकि कर्मकाण्ड करते-करते अगर शरीर छूट जावे तो फायदा क्या मिला ? jab tak yah gyān nahī̃ hai tō bhakti mārg chaltā hai parantu gyān kā dīpak jag jātā hai tō karmkāṇḍ chhūṭ jātē haĩ kyōṅki karmkāṇḍ kartē-kartē agar śharīr chhūṭ jāvē tō phāydā kyā milā ? jab tak[x] yah[pn.sg.d.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] hōnā[pres.sg.23] tō bhakti mārg[x] chalnā[pres.sg.m.23] parantu[conj.] gyān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] dīpak[x] jagnā[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] tō karmkāṇḍ[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhūṭnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] kyōṅki karmkāṇḍ[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] agar śharīr[n.m.;sg.,d.] chhūṭnā[opt.sg.23.root+jānā] tō fāydā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] kyā milnā[past-part.m.sg.d.]|milānā[root] ? as long as this knowledge not be[pres.sg.23] then path of devotion continue[pres.sg.m.23] however knowledge of x wake up[pres.sg.m.23.root+jānā] then paraphernalia let go[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+jānā] because paraphernalia do[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] if body let go[opt.sg.23.root+jānā] then profit what (receive[past-part.m.sg.d.]|x[root]) ?
221Look, what scriptures did Dhruv, Prahlad or Meera (all devotees who have been remembered) read? 222Here, you have to forget everything you have studied. 223For instance, Arjuna had studied all of that and he had to forget it all. 224God’s versions are clear: Remember Me in every breath and there is no need to do anything else.
201प्रालब्ध तो बनी नहीं , कर्मबन्धन के हिसाब-किताब से तो मुक्ति मिली नहीं . prālabdh tō banī nahī̃ , karmbandhan K|kē hisāb-kitāb sē tō mukti milī nahī̃ . prālabdh[n.f.;sg.] tō bannā[past-part.f.] nahī̃[neg] , karmbandhan[n.m.;sg.,d.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hisāb-kitāb[n.f.;sg.] sē[postp.] tō mukti[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] milnā[past-part.f.] nahī̃[neg] . reward then become[past-part.f.] not , karmic bondages (K|of) accounts from then liberation receive[past-part.f.] not . 202लोग तो समझते हैं झूठ न बोलना , चोरी न करना , किसी को दुःख न देना , यह अच्छा कर्म है . lōg tō samajhtē haĩ jhūṭh na bōlnā , chōrī na karnā , kisī kō duḥkh na dēnā , yah achchhā karma hai . log[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō samajhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] jhūṭh[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] bōlnā[inf.m.sg.d.] , chōrī[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] na[neg] karnā[inf.m.sg.d.] , kōī[pn.sg.o.]|kuchh[pn.sg.o.] kō[postp.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] na[neg] dēnā[inf.m.sg.d.] , yah[pn.sg.d.] achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . people then understand[pres.pl.m.12hon3] of falsehood not speak[inf.m.sg.d.] , stealing not do[inf.m.sg.d.] , (some|anything) to (hurt[root]|sorrow) not give[inf.m.sg.d.] , this achcha deed be[pres.sg.23] .
225Until you receive this knowledge, the path of devotion will continue, but when the lamp of knowledge is lit, you stop all of those rituals because if you were to shed your body while carrying out any of the rituals, what benefit would there be?
203परन्तु यहाँ तो सदाकाल के लिये कर्मों की बंधायमानी से छूटना है और विकर्मों की जड़ को निकालना है . parantu yahā̃ tō sadākāl K|kē liyē karmō̃ key|kī bandhāyamānī sē chhūṭnā hai aur vikarmō̃ key|kī jaṛ kō nikālnā hai . parantu[conj.] yahā̃ tō sadākāl K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] lēnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] karm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] bandhan[n.f.ī=>ī;sg.] sē[postp.] chhūṭnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] aur vikarm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] jaṛ[n.f.;sg.]|jaṛ[adj.]|jaṛnā[root] kō[postp.] nikālnā[pres.sg.23.oblig1] . however here then x (K|of) take[past-part.m.pl.,o.] deed (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) bondage from let go[pres.sg.23.oblig1] and sin (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) (x|non-conscious|stud[root]) to x[pres.sg.23.oblig1] .
226You neither created any reward nor received liberation from the karmic accounts of your karmic bondages. 227People believe that not telling lies, not stealing, not causing sorrow for anyone are all good acts.
204हम तो अब चाहते हैं ऐसा बीज डालें जिससे अच्छे कर्मों का झाड़ निकले , इसलिए मनुष्य जीवन में अपने कार्य को जान श्रेष्ठ कर्म करने हैं . ham tō ab chāhtē haĩ aisā bīj ḍālē̃ jissē achchhē karmō̃ kā jhāṛ nikalē , isliē manuṣhya jīvan mē̃ apnē kārya kō jān śhrēṣhṭh karma karnē haĩ . ham[pn.pl.] tō ab[adv.] chāhnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] aisā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] bīj[n.m.;sg.,d.] ḍālnā[opt.pl.12hon3] jō[pn.sg.sē] achchhā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] karm[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] jhāṛ[n.m.;sg.,d.] nikalnā[opt.sg.23]|nikalnā[past-part.m.pl.,o.] , isliē manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] jīvan[n.m.;sg.,d.] mē̃[postp.] apnā[pn.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kārya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] jānnā[root]|jān[n.m.;sg.,d.] śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] karm[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] . we then now x[pres.pl.m.12hon3] such seed create[opt.pl.12hon3] that[.sē] achcha deed of tree (be extracted[opt.sg.23]|be extracted[past-part.m.pl.,o.]) , therefore human being life in one’s own task to (know[root]|x) elevated deed do[pres.pl.12hon3.oblig1] .
228However, here, you have to free yourself from any bondage of karma for all time and also remove the root of your sinful actions. 229All of us wish to sow such seeds that a good tree emerges.
205बाकी परमात्मा को जो जितना पहचानते हैं , उतना ही नज़दीक आते हैं . bākī paramātmā kō jō jitnā pahchāntē haĩ , utnā hī nazdīk ātē haĩ . bākī|bākī paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] jitnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] pahchānnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , utnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hī[p.] nazdīk ānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . 230This is why you have to know your acts in this human life and perform elevated actions.
206यह सब राज़ पारब्रह्म में रहने वाला परमात्मा , आताल-पाताल से जो उस पार है , वो आकर सुनाता है . yah sab rāz pārabrahma mē̃ rahnē vālā paramātmā , ātāl-pātāl sē jō us pār hai , vō ākar sunātā hai . yah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] rāz[n.m.;sg.,d.] x mē̃[postp.] rahnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] vālā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] , x sē[postp.] jō[pn.;d.] vah[pn.sg.o.] pār[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] , vah[pn.;d.] ānā[abs.] sunānā[pres.sg.m.23] . this all secret x in remain[inf.m.pl.,o.] those who Supreme Soul , x from that that across be[pres.sg.23] , that come[abs.] speak[pres.sg.m.23] . 207अच्छा - ओम् शान्ति . achchhā - ōm śhānti . achchhā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] - ōm śhānti[x] . achcha - Om Shanti .
231However much you recognise God, that is how close you come to Him. 232God, the One who resides in the Brahm element, the One who is beyond heaven and hell, comes and tells us all of these secrets. 233Achcha.
