Murli
10ओम् शान्ति . ōm śhānti . ōm śhānti[x] . Om Shanti .
12Om shanti.
11बाप ने ओम् का अर्थ तो बच्चों को समझा दिया है . bāp nē ōm kā arth|earth tō bachchō̃ kō samjhā diyā hai . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] nē[postp.] ōm kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth tō bachchā[n.m.ā=>ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] samajhnā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+dēnā]|samjhānā[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+dēnā] . father ∅ Om of (meaning|earth) then child to (understand[pres-perf.sg.m.23.past-part+dēnā]|explain[pres-perf.sg.m.23.root+dēnā]) . 12ओम् अर्थात् अहम आत्मा . ōm arthāt aham ātmā . ōm arthāt aham[pn.] ātmā[n.f.;sg.] . Om that is I soul .
13The Father has explained the meaning of ‘Om’ to you children. ‘Om’ means I, the soul, that’s all.
13बस , अर्थ ही इतना छोटा है . bas , arth|earth hī itnā chhōṭā hai . basnā[root]|bas , arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth hī[p.] itnā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] chhōṭā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] . (x[root]|simply) , (meaning|earth) only such small be[pres.sg.23] .
14The meaning is so short.
14ऐसे नहीं कि आई एम गॉड . aisē nahī̃ ki I am god . aisē nahī̃[x] ki[conj.] I am[x] god . it isn't that that I am x .
15It isn't, "I am God!"
15पण्डितों आदि से पूछेंगे ओम् का अर्थ क्या है ? paṇḍitō̃ ādi sē pūchhē̃gē ōm kā arth|earth kyā hai ? paṇḍit[n.m.+ō̃;pl.o.] ādi[adj.] sē[postp.] pūchhnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] ōm kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] arth[n.m.;sg.,d.]|earth kyā hōnā[pres.sg.23] ? pundit etc. from ask[fut.m.pl.12hon3] Om of (meaning|earth) what be[pres.sg.23] ? 16तो वह बहुत लम्बा-चौड़ा सुनायेंगे और यथार्थ भी नहीं सुनायेंगे . tō vah bahut lambā-chauṛā sunāyēṅgē aur yathārth bhī nahī̃ sunāyēṅgē . tō vah[pn.sg.d.] bahut lambā-chauṛā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sunānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] aur yathārth[adj.] bhī[p.] nahī̃[neg] sunānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . then that very long-winded speak[fut.m.pl.12hon3] and x too not speak[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
16If you ask pandits what the meaning of ‘Om’ is, they would give a long, complicated meaning and they wouldn't even give you an accurate meaning.
17यथार्थ और अयथार्थ , सत्य और असत्य . yathārth aur ayathārtha , satya aur asatya . yathārth[adj.] aur ayathārtha[adj.] , satya[n.m.;sg.,d.] aur asatya[adj.] . x and x , true and false . 18सत्य तो है ही एक बाप . satya tō hai hī ēk bāp . satya[n.m.;sg.,d.] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] ēk[adj.] bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] . true then be[pres.sg.23] only one father .
17Accurate and inaccurate, true and untrue: only the one Father is the Truth.
19बाकी इस समय तो है ही असत्यता का राज्य . bākī is samay tō hai hī asatyatā kā rājya . bākī|bākī is samay[x] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] asatyatā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] . (others|but) at this time then be[pres.sg.23] only x of kingdom .
18However, at this time, it is the kingdom of falsehood.
20रामराज्य को ही सत्य का राज्य कहेंगे . rāmrājya kō hī satya kā rājya kahē̃gē . rām rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] satya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . kingdom of Rama to only true of kingdom say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
19The kingdom of Rama is called the kingdom of truth.
21रावण राज्य को असत्यता का राज्य कहेंगे . rāvaṇ rājya kō asatyatā kā rājya kahē̃gē . rāvaṇ rājya[x] kō[postp.] asatyatā[n.f.;sg.] kā[postp.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] rājya[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . kingdom of Ravan to x of kingdom say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
20The kingdom of Ravan is called the kingdom of falsehood.
22वह अयथार्थ ही सुनाते हैं . vah ayathārtha hī sunātē haĩ . vah[pn.sg.d.] ayathārtha[adj.] hī[p.] sunānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . that x only speak[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
21Everything they tell you is inaccurate.
23बाप है सत्य , वह सब सत्य सुनाकर सच्चा सोना बना देते हैं . bāp hai satya , vah sab satya sunākar sachchā sōnā banā dētē haĩ . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] hōnā[pres.sg.23] satya[n.m.;sg.,d.] , vah[pn.sg.d.] sab[adj.] satya[n.m.;sg.,d.] sunānā[abs.] sachchā[adj.ā=>ā;m.sg.d.] sōnā[inf.m.sg.d.]|sōnā[n.m.ā=>ā;sg.d.] banānā[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] . father be[pres.sg.23] true , that all true speak[abs.] true (sleep[inf.m.sg.d.]|gold) create[pres.pl.m.12hon3.root+dēnā] .
22The Father is the Truth. 23Everything He tells you is truthful and makes you into real gold.
24फिर माया असत्य बनाती है . phir māyā asatya banātī hai . phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] māyā[n.f.;sg.] asatya[adj.] banānā[pres.sg.f.23] . (then|turn[root]) Maya false create[pres.sg.f.23] .
24Then Maya makes you false.
25माया की प्रवेशता के कारण मनुष्य जो कुछ कहेंगे वह असत्य ही कहेंगे , जिसको आसुरी मत कहा जाता है . māyā key|kī pravēśhtā K|kē kāraṇ manuṣhya jō kuchh kahē̃gē vah asatya hī kahē̃gē , jiskō āsurī mat kahā jātā hai . māyā[n.f.;sg.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] pravēśh[n.f.;sg.] K|kā[postp.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] kāraṇ[n.m.;sg.,d.] manuṣhya[n.m.;sg.,d.] jō kuchh[x] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] vah[pn.sg.d.] asatya[adj.] hī[p.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] , jō[pn.sg.kō] āsurī[adj.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.past-part+jānā]|kahnā[pres.sg.m.23.passive] . 25Because of the interference of Maya, whatever people say is false and they are called devilish directions. 26The Father's directions are God’s directions.
26बाप की है ईश्वरीय मत . bāp kī hai īśhvarīy mat . bāp[n.m.;sg.,d.] karnā[pres-perf.sg.f.23] īśhvarīy[adj.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] . father do[pres-perf.sg.f.23] Godly directions . 27आसुरी मत वाले झूठ ही बतायेंगे . āsurī mat vālē jhūṭh hī batāyēṅgē . āsurī[adj.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] vālā[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] jhūṭh[n.m.;sg.,d.] hī[p.] batānā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . devilish directions those who of falsehood only tell[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
27Those who follow devilish directions would only tell lies.
28आसुरी मतें दुनिया में अनेकानेक हैं . āsurī matē̃ duniyā mē̃ anēkānēk haĩ . āsurī[adj.] mat[n.f.+ē̃;pl.d.] duniyā[n.f.;sg.] mē̃[postp.] anēkānēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . devilish directions world in x be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
28There are innumerable devilish directions.
29गुरू भी अनेक हैं . gurū bhī anēk haĩ . gurū[n.m.;sg.,d.] bhī[p.] anēk[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . guru too many be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
29There are also innumerable gurus.
30उन्हों की श्रीमत नहीं कहेंगे . unhō̃ key|kī śhrīmat nahī̃ kahē̃gē . vah[pn.pl.o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . that (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) shrimat not say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
30Their directions would not be called shrimat.
31एक ईश्वर की मत को ही श्रीमत कहेंगे . ēk īśhvar key|kī mat kō hī śhrīmat kahē̃gē . ēk[adj.] īśhvar[n.m.;sg.,d.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] hī[p.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[fut.m.pl.12hon3] . one God (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) directions to only shrimat say[fut.m.pl.12hon3] .
31Only the directions of God are shrimat.
32अभी तुम बच्चे समझते हो हम श्रीमत पर चल श्रेष्ठ बनते हैं . abhī tum bachchē samajhtē hō ham śhrīmat par chal śhrēṣhṭh bantē haĩ . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] bachchā[n.m.ā=>ē;sg.o.,m.pl.d.] samajhnā[pres.pl.m.2] ham[pn.pl.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] chalnā[root] śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] bannā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . now you child understand[pres.pl.m.2] we shrimat (at|other) continue[root] elevated become[pres.pl.m.12hon3] .
32You children now understand that you are becoming elevated by following shrimat.
33सबसे श्रेष्ठ तो है ही परमपिता परमात्मा . sabsē śhrēṣhṭh tō hai hī parampitā paramātmā . sabsē śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] tō hōnā[pres.sg.23] hī[p.] parampitā[n.m.;sg.,d.] paramātmā[n.m.;sg.,d.] . the most elevated then be[pres.sg.23] only Supreme Father Supreme Soul . 34जो रहते भी ऊंचे ते ऊंचे हैं . jō rahtē bhī ūñchē tē ūñchē haĩ . jō[pn.;d.] rahnā[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] bhī[p.] ūñch[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] sē ūñch[adj.ā=>ē;m.o.,m.pl.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . that remain[pres-part.m.pl.,o.] too elevated from elevated be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
33The most elevated of all is the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul, who also resides in the most elevated place of all.
35सब भक्त उनको याद करते हैं . sab bhakta unkō yād kartē haĩ . sab[adj.] bhakt[n.m.;sg.,d.] vah[pn.pl.kō] yād karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] . all devotee that[.kō] remember .
34All devotees remember Him.
śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] kō[postp.] yād karnā[pres.pl.m.12hon3] , tō zarūr kōī[pn.;d.] āsurī[adj.] mat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] hōnā[pres.pl.12hon3] . devotee shrimat to remember , then definitely some devilish directions (at|other) be[pres.pl.12hon3] .
35Devotees remember shrimat and so they must definitely be following devilish directions.
37अभी तुम श्रीमत पर श्रेष्ठ बनते हो , फिर वहाँ भगवान कहकर याद करने की दरकार ही नहीं . abhī tum śhrīmat par śhrēṣhṭh bantē hō , phir vahā̃ bhagvān kahkar yād karnē key|kī darkār hī nahī̃ . ab[adv.hī] tum[pn.pl.] śhrīmat[n.m.;sg.,d.] par[postp.]|par[adj.] śhrēṣhṭha[adj.] bannā[pres.pl.m.2] , phir[adv.]|phirnā[root] vahā̃ bhagvān[n.m.;sg.,d.] kahnā[abs.] yād[n.f.;sg.] karnā[inf.m.pl.,o.] key|karnā[past-part.f.]|kā[postp.ā=>ī;f.] darkār[n.f.;sg.] hī[p.] nahī̃[neg] . now you shrimat (at|other) elevated become[pres.pl.m.2] , (then|turn[root]) there God say[abs.] remembrance do[inf.m.pl.,o.] (key|do[past-part.f.]|of) need only not .
36You are now becoming elevated by following shrimat. 37So, there is no need to remember God there.
38देवी-देवताओं को कोई दुःख नहीं जो याद करना पड़े . dēvī-dēvatāō̃ kō kōī duḥkh nahī̃ jō yād karnā paṛē . dēvī-dēvtā[n.f.+ō̃;pl.o.] kō[postp.] kōī[pn.;d.] duḥkhnā[root]|duḥkh[n.m.;sg.,d.] nahī̃[neg] jō[pn.;d.] yād karnā[opt.sg.23.oblig2] . deities to some (hurt[root]|sorrow) not that remember .
